A perfectly judged black saree can do the job with far greater ease, and Kiara Advani’s latest appearance is proof. At the Telugu pre-release event of ‘Toxic’ in Hyderabad, the actor chose an all-black ensemble that balanced old-school glamour with a distinctly contemporary edge.

Held on August 22 ahead of the film’s theatrical release on August 26, the Hyderabad event gave the saree its moment to command attention. Its fluid velvet finish created a rich, almost liquid movement through the drape, while the lace introduced a lighter, intricate texture. Together, the two materials gave the traditional silhouette a slightly gothic character, while the deep black palette kept the overall effect elegant and refined.

Intriguing Lace Details

The blouse was where the ensemble found another layer of intrigue. A high-neck, long-sleeved design featured a plunging sweetheart neckline, while lace detailing and intricate embroidery across the sleeves and shoulders added dimension.
