Yilobeni Valerie Patton grew up listening to bedtime stories of bravery, kinship, love lost, and mythical worlds made magical by her father. To this day, she believes he is one of the greatest storytellers to have ever lived. Storytelling entered her life long before journalism did, and she continues to hone her craft every day.

Journalism simply gave it a voice and a wider audience. With over a decade in media, she has worked as an anchor, producer, reporter, and writer, often all at once - across CNN-News18, ETimes, and ANI. She knows she’s not half as good as her father yet, but she’s getting there.

Today, she writes about fashion, beauty, food, travel, and anything else compelling enough to make her pick up a pen, or, more accurately, in her case, a laptop.

Born into a family of painters, sculptors, and mixologists, Priyamvada channels creativity into her seven-year journey as a lifestyle journalist having worked previously with The Times Group, L’Officiel, and Express Publications. As a Senior Principal Correspondent with Outlook Luxe, she explores the intersections of fashion, design, art, beauty and culture. A tech enthusiast with a deep appreciation for all things mechanical, Aaron Jacob finds beauty in the precision of cars, watches, and the stories behind them. His journey into journalism stems from a love of detail and structure — qualities he believes are the foundation of meaningful storytelling. His design language/sensibilities are unique, simple, uncluttered, elegant and extremely contemporary with his design philosophy transcending cultural, political and geographical influences adding extraordinary individual and iconic flair. In the recent past as a creative director, he has been at the helm of managing various teams consisting of talented art directors, designers, illustrators, graphics artists and photo/video teams.

His multimedia project, photo essay/reportage on ‘COVID Warriors’ for Forbes India, entirely shot through the iPhone, made a ripple in the industry and amongst the peers and became a permanent #hastag within the entire organisation. He sits on the Jury/panel for the prestigious ADC awards, New York, 2021, in the graphic/publication design category, as the only judge representing Indian media. A fan of pop culture, his observant and diligent pair of eyes follows the latest in technology, cultural shifts, and socio-micro trends, be it music and entertainment, art or something as different as sneaker and merchandise design. He is a runner, cycling, fitness and adventure enthusiast, Jazz, blues and world music fan and a home chef.

As Outlook Luxe’s Social Media Manager, Priyanka Bansal is equal parts strategist and storyteller. She can be found behind the camera one moment and editing a reel in the next. She brings the world of luxury lifestyle to life across platforms, translating trends into visually compelling narratives that engage the modern Luxe reader. When she’s not decoding algorithms or tracking the next viral moment, you’ll find her brushing up on pop culture trivia — always ready for the next trivia night or rewatching her comfort show for the nth time, while trying on new makeup.
