Cannes 2026: Farhana Bodi Turns Heads In A 15 Kg Swarovski Crystal Gown

Farhana Bodi is known for her head-turning red carpet presence at the Cannes Film Festival. Known globally for Dubai Bling, the Dubai-based star returned to Cannes 2026 in a breathtaking custom aquamarine couture gown weighing a whopping 15 kgs!

Covered entirely in thousands of shimmering Swarovski crystals, the gown transformed the red carpet into her personal runway. The dramatic couture creation reportedly took an year to complete, delivering the kind of opulent glamour that Cannes has become synonymous with.

Thousands of Swarovski crystals were individually hand-applied across the silhouette, which featured a striking neckline, a sculpted body-hugging fit, and a sweeping mermaid-style finish.

Her beauty styling complemented the maximalist ensemble without overpowering it. Farhana opted for a sleek sculpted bun, radiant bronzed skin, soft champagne-toned eye makeup, subtle contouring, and a nude lip. It brought effortless French Riviera glamour to the statement look.

The jewellery equally stole the limelight. Inspired by traditional Kazakh ornamentation, the jewellery is designed exclusively for Cannes by Saltanat Diamond Jewellery, involving over 8,000 hours of workmanship. The necklace and earrings featured 16.51 carats of diamonds, 48.69 carats of aquamarines, and 44.85 carats of beryl stones. Completing the look was a dramatic statement ring centred around a striking 33.44-carat Paraiba tourmaline.

The look was created by Atelier Zuhra, the couture label behind Farhana’s acclaimed Cannes appearance last year as well. Over the years, the collaboration between Farhana and Atelier Zuhra has evolved into one of Cannes’ most consistent fashion collaborations,  one that clearly understands the festival’s appetite for elegance, craftsmanship, and unapologetic glamour.
