Paris Fashion Week: Olivia Colman Makes Miu Miu Runway Debut as Gigi Hadid Closes Show

The Oscar-winning actor joined Emma Corrin and Jamie Bell on the Miu Miu runway, while Gigi Hadid closed the Spring/Summer 2027 show in a crystal-embellished skirt and sports bra.

Paris Fashion Week took an unexpected turn at Miu Miu, where Olivia Colman swapped the red carpet for the runway for her first appearance as a model. The Oscar-winning British actor was part of Miuccia Prada’s star-studded Spring/Summer 2027 show, walking alongside Emma Corrin, Jamie Bell and Gigi Hadid.

Colman appeared in a black leather blazer and matching knee-length skirt, styled with flats and her hair pulled into a relaxed ponytail. Her runway debut added another unexpected name to Miu Miu’s casting, which has increasingly brought actors and cultural figures into the fashion house’s shows.

Olivia Colman Takes The Runway

For Colman, the appearance was a notable departure from her usual fashion week presence. Rather than sitting front row, the actor became part of the presentation itself, joining a cast that also included Noah Jupe, Louisa Jacobson, Katherine Waterston and others.

The unconventional and multi-generational casting reflected the spirit of Miu Miu’s latest collection, titled ‘Here and Now’. The Spring/Summer 2027 lineup explored the tension between familiar everyday clothing and more elevated fashion, bringing together sportswear, knitwear, leather, vintage denim and tailored pieces.

Plaid skirts and V-neck sweaters appeared alongside cropped performance tops, track-inspired trousers and trainers. Evening pieces were similarly given a sporty treatment, with embellishment, satin and crystal details bringing glamour to otherwise athletic silhouettes.

Miu Miu also introduced two notable collaborations. Reworked vintage denim was created with Wrangler under the Miu Miu Upcycled project, while the fifth year of its partnership with New Balance produced a reconstructed version of the RC150 racing sneaker.

Gigi Hadid Closes In Sportswear

Gigi Hadid delivered one of the show’s most talked-about moments as she closed the runway in a look that captured the collection’s collision of sport and sophistication.

The model wore a charcoal-grey halter-style sports bra with a low-cut back, paired with a low-slung pleated midi skirt. Long panels of crystals and beading fell from either side of the skirt, creating a sharp contrast with the pared-back athletic top.

Grey-and-white New Balance x Miu Miu trainers with neon-yellow accents completed the look, while green gemstone earrings and minimal beauty kept the attention on the clothes.

The casting and clothes together made Miu Miu’s show one of the standout moments of Paris Fashion Week 2026. With Olivia Colman’s runway debut and Hadid’s sporty finale, the show offered a distinctly Miu Miu take on how everyday wardrobe staples can move between the gym, the street and evening dressing.
