Companies pay Distinctive Assets to feature their products in the hamper because it provides enormous global exposure. For instance, Rescue Spa, founded by Danuta Mieloch, contributes skincare products worth about $450 (INR 40,000) to each bag.
According to organiser Lash Fary, the initiative also helps spotlight small businesses as well as women- and minority-owned brands, giving them international visibility during Hollywood’s most glorious event.
