Following in the footsteps of Bhavitha Mandava, another young Indian talent is now stepping onto the global stage with remarkable ambition and promise.

Who Is Bhoomika Yadav?
At just 19, model Bhoomika Yadav has drawn international attention after reportedly becoming the youngest Indian to walk for Chanel. The achievement has sparked widespread appreciation on social media, marking her as a rising face in global fashion.
Hailing from Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Bhoomika’s rise is anything but typical. In an industry often shaped by access and privilege, her presence on international runways signals a meaningful shift, especially for those who dare to dream beyond familiar boundaries. Her recent outing for Chanel, a name synonymous with legacy and influence in the world of couture, marks not just a milestone but also establishes her as a model to watch.

Bhoomika’s entry into modelling began unexpectedly when she was discovered in her hometown by Ninjas Model Management. According to posts shared by the agency on social media, she was spotted by founder, Ninja Singh. The post reads, ‘She was scouted by Ninja Singh on the streets of Raipur, and the moment I saw her walking I thought, “How can someone be this beautiful” After that first impression, I knew she was pure beauty, something truly divine, and without a doubt one of the most gorgeous women I had ever seen. I felt strongly that she should be sent to Paris, and the rest is history.’

Born on January 27, 2006, Bhoomika’s rise also challenges long-standing beauty standards in India. Ninjas Model Management, in another post, wrote, ‘Bhoomika Yadav was born on January 27, 2006, in Raipur and was discovered on the streets of her hometown, a journey that would go on to challenge deep rooted beauty norms in India, she is a striking dark Indian beauty, often labeled as “Kali” in a society where darker skin is still unfairly judged despite the reality that the majority of India reflects this complexion, yet commercial beauty spaces continue to exclude it.’

Beyond the runway, Bhoomika remains grounded in her roots – she enjoys simple desi favourites like dal chawal and has a fondness for Bollywood romance. Having already walked for Chanel multiple times and collaborated with Vogue in the United States, she is now based in Paris, balancing a growing international career across France, India, and the United Kingdom.
