Sky View Pavilion's rooftop views to TWENTY3's finish-line glamour, five of the most exclusive hospitality experiences at the Singapore Grand Prix, explored in full

Singapore Grand Prix Offers Exclusive HNI Track Experience

Five hospitality packages, one night race through Marina Bay, and an awful lot of free-flow Champagne. The Singapore Grand Prix has turned trackside dining into its own kind of motorsport

There is a very particular species of person who attends a Formula 1 night race in Singapore not for the race itself, strictly speaking, but for everything orbiting it, the dedicated ferries, the fireworks exploding over Marina Bay, the free-flowing Champagne, and the faint, nagging suspicion that somewhere out there, twenty cars are also doing something rather fast. I say this with no judgement whatsoever, because having now surveyed the hospitality options on offer trackside, I am entirely prepared to join their ranks. The Marina Bay Street Circuit remains, even after all these years, one of the genuinely great spectacles in motorsport, a 5-kilometre ribbon of asphalt threaded through a skyline so photogenic it ought to charge the cars for appearing in shot, raced entirely under floodlights that turn an already glamorous city into something closer to a film set. But the racing, thrilling as it undeniably is, now shares top billing with an ecosystem of hospitality experiences so lavish that one rather suspects some guests arrive having never checked the starting grid at all. What follows is not so much a race preview as a reconnaissance mission into four of the circuit’s most extravagant vantage points, each one competing not for lap times but for your attention, your appetite, and, let’s be honest, your credit card.

Then there is TWENTY3, which has positioned itself at the finish line with the sort of confidence that only comes from knowing you have the best seat in the house. Guests arrive by dedicated ferry, because apparently walking is for people without reservations, and are deposited into a world of award-winning cuisine and bespoke cocktails with uninterrupted views of the podium and the post-race fireworks exploding over Marina Bay. The Apex Lounge and Podium Terrace sound like names a Bond villain might give his lair, and I mean that as the highest compliment.

Torque Lounge: Ground Floor, Full Throttle

Down at ground level inside the Flyer sits Torque, offering much the same gourmet dinner-and-supper combination as its upstairs neighbour, but with its own private grandstand overlooking the final corner and pit lane, plus a cocktail bar and DJ of its own. It is, essentially, Sky View Pavilion’s slightly more grounded sibling, less altitude, same ambition, and precisely the same willingness to keep the Champagne flowing until the small hours.

Perched on the fourth floor of the Esplanade, between Turns 14 and 16, the Driver’s Right Lounge gives guests the genuinely difficult choice between an air-conditioned indoor lounge and a private rooftop terrace, international cuisine, and free-flow Champagne, wines, spirits and beers. It is the sort of venue where you could plausibly lose an entire evening without once feeling you’d missed the race, which, in fairness, is exactly what you’re paying for.

Finally, just past Turn 3, Observ@3 offers one of the more technically interesting vantage points on the circuit, watching the cars accelerate onto Republic Boulevard, paired with gourmet French cuisine by Claudine and an open bar stocked with Champagne, wine, spirits and beer. There is a dedicated mixologist on hand, which feels almost unnecessary given the open bar, and a suite host offering personalised service, which is a polite way of saying someone will fetch things for you so you never have to stand up.

Sky View Pavilion delivers its Formula 1 hospitality experience from a spot between Turns 17 and 18, right at the base of the Singapore Flyer. Inside, guests settle into air-conditioned comfort for a specially curated gourmet menu, complete with a welcome reception, dinner, supper and free-flowing wines, beers and soft drinks. The pavilion itself may not open directly onto the track, but that hardly matters once you step out to its exclusive outdoor grandstand and lifestyle area, positioned right over the final corner and pit lane, complete with its own cocktail bar, DJ and a run of interactive experiences to keep the evening moving. The package rounds out with priority access to complimentary rides on the Singapore Flyer, plus entry to every zone and entertainment stage across the Circuit Park, Padang and Wharf included.

What unites all five of these experiences, beyond the alarming quantity of free-flow alcohol, is access. Every single package includes entry to all Circuit Park zones and entertainment stages, from Padang to Wharf, plus complimentary rides on the Singapore Flyer, which by this point has clearly become less a Ferris wheel and more a form of currency. It is a genuinely clever piece of event architecture: no matter which lounge you choose, you are never actually locked out of anything else happening across the weekend.
