Top 5 Luxury Tech Launches In India For July 2025

Luxury tech took centre stage in India this July, with major players like Samsung, Nothing, and LG launching their most ambitious devices yet. Here's a look at the top luxury gadgets that you should definitely be checking out this month

July 25, 2025

July turned into luxury tech’s biggest month in India, with four major launches reshaping the premium market. Samsung’s foldables hit record numbers, Nothing went all-in on flagship pricing, Sony expanded across TVs and audio, while Dyson’s latest hair tool stayed mysteriously absent from the country, but luxury beauty enthusiasts can hope to find it soon here. Here are the top luxury new launches in the tech space for July 2025.

Samsung’s Foldable Gambit Pays Off Big

Samsung dropped its entire foldable line-up on 25 July – the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE and Galaxy Watch 8 series. The timing was deliberate: for the first time, India received these devices on the same day as global markets.

The Z Fold 7 starts at ₹174,999, the Z Flip 7 at ₹109,999, and the new FE variant sits at ₹89,999. That FE model is the interesting play here—Samsung is trying to make foldables mainstream by hitting a price point that’s still expensive, but not completely out of reach.

What made this launch different was the response. Samsung pulled in 210,000 pre-orders in 48 hours, matching their flagship S25 series numbers. That’s a 40 per cent jump from last year’s foldables.

The foldables themselves are evolutionary rather than revolutionary. The Z Fold 7 is thinner, the hinge is better, and battery life is improved. But the real story is that Indians are finally buying foldables in serious numbers. At these prices, that’s saying something.

Nothing’s Bold (Maybe Too Bold) Flagship Move

Nothing picked 1 July to launch its Phone (3) at ₹79,999 for the base model, rising to ₹89,999. It also released the Headphone (1) at ₹21,999 on the same day.

The Phone (3) is Nothing’s first real flagship attempt. It’s got a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that reaches 4,500 nits brightness, runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and features a new “Glyph Matrix” screen that replaces the LED strips with something more sophisticated. The India model gets a bigger 5,500mAh battery using silicon-carbide tech—that’s 350mAh more than global versions.

Here’s the problem: ₹79,999 is a lot to ask when you’re using the 8s Gen 4 processor. That’s a step down from the flagship 8 Elite that competitors use at similar prices. The market noticed immediately. Sure, it’s made in Chennai, but that manufacturing advantage isn’t reflected in the pricing.

The Headphone (1) makes more sense at ₹21,999. KEF tuned the 40mm drivers, there’s proper hybrid noise cancellation, and the battery lasts 80 hours. That’s competitive with Sony and Bose at that price point.

Sony Doubles Down on Premium Entertainment

Sony played July smart by launching across categories. The Bravia 5 TV series arrived on 18 July, with the Theatre Bar 6 and Theatre System 6 soundbars launching earlier in the month.

The Bravia 5 comes in five sizes: 55 inches at ₹137,740, up to 85 inches at ₹417,990. These use mini LED backlighting rather than OLED, which lets Sony hit prices between budget and ultra-premium. The 65-inch model at ₹152,990 is particularly well-positioned—you’re getting near-OLED picture quality without OLED pricing. There’s also a 98-inch Bravia 5 priced at ₹6.49 lakh.

Sony tuned these TVs specifically for Indian homes. The audio processing boosts bass and vocals because that’s what testing showed Indian viewers prefer. There are dedicated modes for Prime Video content and PlayStation 5 optimisation that cater to the growing gaming audience.

The Theatre Bar 6 (₹39,990) and Theatre System 6 (₹49,990) complete the ecosystem. Sony is betting that people who buy premium TVs want matching audio, and they’re probably right. The integration between TV and soundbar is seamless—one remote controls everything.

Dyson’s Newest Stays Away (For Now)

The Dyson Airwrap Coanda 2x launched globally on July 8 but skipped India entirely. We’re still getting the Airwrap i.d. at ₹45,900-49,900, which is the previous generation.

The Coanda 2x has some serious upgrades—30 per cent more power, double the air pressure, and attachments that the device recognises automatically. It’ll probably arrive here eventually at around ₹60,000, but Dyson is taking its time. For now, India’s luxury beauty tech buyers have to make do with last year’s model or import the new one themselves.

LG’s Smartest TVs Yet Go Big on Personalisation

LG rolled out its 2025 range of OLEDevo and QNEDevo televisions in India this July, packing in a wave of AI features aimed at tailoring the viewing experience to individual users. Both lineups are powered by the new Alpha AI Processor Gen2, which enables smarter content recommendations, voice recognition, and adaptive picture and sound settings.

The OLEDevo models bring upgrades for both movie lovers and gamers. You get Brightness Booster Ultimate for better contrast, support for 4K 144Hz refresh rates, and compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. Audio gets a boost too, thanks to AI Sound Pro, which creates a virtual 11.2 surround sound effect. There’s also a new Filmmaker Mode that adjusts picture settings based on the lighting in your room.

On the QNED side, the new QNEDevo series combines Mini LED backlighting with LG’s own Dynamic QNED Colour system, ditching traditional quantum dots in favour of more accurate colour reproduction, even in bright rooms.

Across the board, LG has focused on personalisation. The new AI Magic Remote has a dedicated button for voice commands. There’s also AI Welcome, which greets users by name, and AI Voice ID, which can automatically switch profiles and make recommendations based on who’s watching.

Both series run on the updated webOS platform, and LG promises five years of OS upgrades under its Re:New program. Prices start at ₹74,990 for the QNED8BA models and go up to ₹24,99,990 for the massive 97-inch OLEDevo G5.
