Dial colour has become one of watchmaking’s most telling style signals, and mint green has emerged as a particular favourite among collectors seeking something softer than the industry’s long-standing obsession with blue and green sunbursts. Pastel tones, mint chief among them, have found their way onto dials precisely because they read as fresh and considered rather than safe, catching light with a quiet luminosity instead of a bold, attention-grabbing shimmer. It is a colour that suits the Classics Manchette’s broader ambition rather well. In the world of contemporary watchmaking, the line between a timepiece and a piece of jewellery continues to become increasingly fluid. Frederique Constant embraces this idea with the Classics Manchette, a refined interpretation of its distinctive Manchette collection that combines sculptural design, polished steel and a delicate mint-green dial. The result is a watch that places elegance and individuality at the centre of its design.

First presented as a distinctive bracelet watch, the Classics Manchette

First presented as a distinctive bracelet watch, the Classics Manchette returns with new interpretations that further explore its glam-chic character. The 2026 additions include a stainless-steel version featuring a mint-green sunray dial. The latter brings a softer, cooler expression to the collection while retaining its bold architectural identity. At the heart of the Classics Manchette is its mint-green sunray-finished dial, a colour choice that lends the watch a sense of freshness and modernity. The delicate pastel tone catches and reflects light, creating a subtle contrast with the silver hands. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial while maintaining its clarity and luminosity.

Complementing the dial is the watch’s sculptural stainless-steel construction. The bracelet features a complex seven-link structure in polished steel, designed to follow the contours of the wrist. An invisible folding clasp maintains the clean silhouette while ensuring a comfortable fit. One of the defining elements of the Classics Manchette is the Clou de Paris motif, which extends across the steel design through a series of polished pyramidal details. The geometric pattern creates an interplay of light and reflection, giving the bracelet a jewellery-like quality. As Frederique Constant describes it, the Manchette transforms the traditional idea of a watch into “the jewelry that tells time,” with its supple construction designed to sit against the wrist like a second skin.

Beneath its jewellery-inspired exterior, the Classics Manchette is powered by the FC-200 quartz calibre

Beneath its jewellery-inspired exterior, the Classics Manchette is powered by the FC-200 quartz calibre, based on the Ronda 1032. The movement offers hours and minutes, features seven jewels and provides an impressive 60-month battery life. The stainless-steel case measures 25.7 mm in diameter and 6.45 mm in thickness, with water resistance rated at 300m.

The balance between expressive design and practical precision reflects Frederique Constant’s wider approach to watchmaking. Since its beginnings in 1988, the Geneva-based Manufacture has pursued a contemporary interpretation of Swiss watchmaking, developing both quartz and mechanical timepieces while challenging conventional design codes. The Maison today has developed 35 Manufacture movements and produces refined complications including the Tourbillon, Perpetual Calendar, Flyback Chronograph, Worldtimer and Power Reserve Big Date.

With the Classics Manchette, Frederique Constant brings together geometric precision

With the Classics Manchette, Frederique Constant brings together geometric precision and chromatic softness in a watch designed to be worn as much as admired. Its polished steel bracelet, signature Clou de Paris motif and luminous mint-green dial give it a distinctive presence, while the quartz FC-200 calibre ensures dependable everyday performance. More than a conventional timepiece, the Classics Manchette presents a contemporary vision of elegance—one where watchmaking meets jewellery, and where subtlety can make just as strong a statement as glamour.
