Complications, in most watches, tend to behave like guests at an open bar. They arrive quietly, then gradually take over the entire room. Before long, the dial resembles the dashboard of a commercial airliner, covered in subdials, scales, indicators and enough information to launch a small satellite. H. Moser & Cie., however, has never subscribed to that philosophy. The independent Swiss manufacture has built its reputation on doing the exact opposite: taking extraordinary mechanical complexity and hiding it behind astonishing simplicity.
The new Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date is perhaps the purest expression of that idea yet. Here is a watch that combines a flyback chronograph, a second time zone and a date display, yet somehow manages to look cleaner than many simple three-hand watches. Developed in collaboration with movement specialist AGENHOR, it introduces the new hand-wound HMC 730 calibre and reimagines what a modern travel chronograph can be.

What makes the Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date remarkable is not simply the number of complications it contains, but the way they disappear into the overall design. Traditional chronographs rely on subdials to display elapsed minutes and seconds, often cluttering the dial in the process. H. Moser & Cie. eliminates this entirely. Both chronograph indications are displayed centrally, with a red hand measuring elapsed seconds and a rhodium-plated hand tracking elapsed minutes.
The dual-time display is equally discreet, appearing on a black or fumé central disc marked by a subtle white arrow tipped with Super-LumiNova®. The result is a dial that remains balanced, intuitive and instantly legible. Around the perimeter, a tachymeter scale reinforces the watch’s technical personality, while preserving the minimalist aesthetic that has become a Moser signature. Functionality here does not dominate the design; it becomes the design.
The watch is housed in a 42mm stainless-steel case measuring 13.2mm thick, with chronograph pushers positioned at 10 o’clock, and 2 o’clock and a screw-down crown at 4 o’clock engraved with the iconic “M”. Its streamlined profile is complemented by a sapphire crystal see-through caseback that reveals the movement within. The turquoise fumé dial features a radiant sunburst finish contrasted by the blackor fumé central disc, while leaf-shaped hour and minute hands filled with Super-LumiNova® ensure excellent legibility. A white minute track around the edge serves both elapsed seconds and chronograph minutes, while the tachymeter flange enhances its instrument-like character.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound HMC 730 calibre developed jointly with AGENHOR, a movement comprising 383 components and 49 jewels. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it features a column-wheel chronograph, horizontal clutch with micro-tooth technology, a sophisticated two-stage chronograph mechanism and a double-barrel architecture delivering a minimum 72-hour power reserve. The movement also incorporates flyback functionality for both seconds and minutes, a Dual Time display and a date complication that can be adjusted forwards or backwards without risking damage to the mechanism.
Viewed through the sapphire caseback, the calibre showcases anthracite finishing, Moser double stripes and partially skeletonised bridges. Completing the watch is a grey nubuck-finished alligator leather strap secured by a steel pin buckle engraved with the Moser logo. The Endeavour Flyback Chronograph Dual Time Date is proof that haute horlogerie does not need to shout. Sometimes the most impressive watchmaking achievement is making the impossible look effortless.
