Every summer, the grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex transform into a playground where Formula One legends, Le Mans prototypes, historic racers, hypercars and future concepts all share the same famous hill climb. The 2026 edition once again celebrates speed across every generation of motorsport, making it the perfect stage for TAG Heuer to unveil a Monaco that pays tribute to British racing heritage while honouring one of the world’s most celebrated automotive festivals.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph x Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 Edition arrives in the Monaco’s signature 39 mm fine brushed and polished stainless steel square case, complete with 100 metres of water resistance. The polished steel crown sits at 3 o’clock, flanked by the chronograph pushers positioned at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock, preserving the familiar architecture that has defined modern Monaco chronographs. Dominating the watch is a striking British Racing Green lacquered dial, accented with rhodium plated applied hour markers filled with Super LumiNova for excellent legibility.
The chronograph layout places a 30 minute counter and running seconds with a date aperture at 3 and 6 o’clock, while the 12 hour chronograph register occupies 9 o’clock. Beige detailing across the sub dials and circular minute track adds a vintage motorsport flavour, contrasted by vivid red chronograph hands and a red marker positioned at 39 seconds, commemorating the current Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb record set by the McMurtry Spéirling driven by Max Chilton in 2022. Completing the racing inspired dial is the central chronograph seconds hand tipped with a distinctive chequered flag motif.

Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback, through which the in-house Calibre TH20-00 automatic chronograph movement can be admired. The movement delivers a power reserve of approximately 80 hours, offering modern reliability alongside refined finishing. Each individually numbered watch features the Goodwood Festival of Speed logo and ‘2026’ printed on the sapphire caseback, reinforcing its commemorative status. Production is limited to just 71 pieces, a deliberate tribute to the Monaco’s unforgettable appearance in the 1971 film Le Mans. The watch is paired with a brown perforated leather strap, inspired by vintage driving gloves, secured by a fine brushed and polished stainless steel folding clasp with double safety push buttons, completing a package that effortlessly blends Swiss watchmaking, British motorsport heritage and one of the most iconic chronographs ever created.
