The 89-year-old actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital earlier this week, sparking concern among his fans across the country. However, reassuring updates from his family have since brought relief. On Tuesday morning, his daughter Esha Deol shared a message on social media confirming that her father is “stable and recovering well.”

Please refrain from spreading misinformation regarding his health. We request everyone to respect the family’s privacy and keep him in their prayers for a speedy recovery,” the spokesperson said in an official statement.

Dharmendra’s Net worth

Beyond his on-screen charisma, Dharmendra is known for his entrepreneurial acumen, with an estimated net worth of around ₹335 crore spanning real estate, restaurants, and luxury cars. Fondly known as Bollywood’s original “He-Man” and “Garam Dharam,” Dharmendra extended his stardom into the culinary world after decades of cinematic success. His first foray into the hospitality business came in 2015 with Garam Dharam Dhaba in New Delhi inspired by his larger-than-life persona. In 2022, he launched another venture, He-Man, along the Karnal Highway, continuing his love affair with food and rustic Indian hospitality.

In real estate, reports suggest Dhardendra’s portfolio in Maharashtra alone is worth over ₹17 crore, complemented by agricultural holdings valued at ₹88 lakh and non-agricultural land estimated at ₹52 lakh. Further, Dharmendra often retreats to his lush 100-acre farmhouse in Lonavala. It’s a serene sanctuary far away from the city’s chaos. The Padma Bhushan awardee’s countryside estate blends luxury and nature, complete with a temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool where he is known to practice aqua therapy. In keeping with his business instincts, the actor has also been exploring the idea of developing a resort near his Lonavala farmhouse which was first reported back in 2015, when he partnered with a hospitality group to conceptualise a 30-cottage retreat across 12 acres of verdant land.
