Couture meets gastronomy meets culture inside the plush LV The Place Bangkok located at Gaysorn Amarin, Thailand. Occupying two floors of the downtown retail complex, it houses he Maison’s first restaurant in South Asia, Gaggan at Louis Vuitton, which takes diners on a “food journey” from France to Thailand. Extending the ambitious global lifestyle vision of Louis Vuitton, the “360 experiential concept”, boasts of not just Gaggan at Louis Vuitton, but also an immersive exhibition space, a boutique and Le Cafe Louis Vuitton, a chic patisserie on the ground floor. The highlight of the concept Adding to Bangkok’s vibrant epicurean treasures, the newest culinary hot spot Gaggan at Louis Vuitton in Bangkok is helmed by Bangkok-based Indian superstar chef Gaggan Anand, who also owns a string of acclaimed food and beverage establishments around the city – such as his eponymous restaurant and Ms Maria & Mr Singh. Build on a mutual passion for creativity and innovation that bind Anand and the iconic brand, the fine dining experience here consists of a seasonal menu exclusive to Louis Vuitton and based on the 5 ‘S’ – Sweet, Sour, Salty, Spicy and Surprise. You can walk in for delightful multi-course lunches or dinners, preferably dressed in the best of your LVs for quick access to be a part of the Louis Vuitton universe and treat yourself to Thai-inspired dressed lobster to a mushroom recipe in a Damier pattern, each composition presented on a distinctive dish à la Gaggan Anand.
