Engineering the Squircle in Titanium

For this newest expression, that shape has been reimagined entirely in Grade 5 titanium, chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The material is roughly 40% lighter than stainless steel, while also offering corrosion resistance and hypoallergenic properties, making the choice as practical as it is symbolic. Titanium does more here than simply upgrade the spec sheet: it lets Edge preserve the lightness and restraint fundamental to its design language while introducing a material closely associated with advanced, high-performance engineering. Both the case and bracelet are executed in Grade 5 titanium, resulting in a watch that feels remarkably light on the wrist despite its underlying strength.
That commitment to restraint extends to the watch’s proportions. At just 4.85mm in case thickness, the Squircle Titanium stays true to the ultra-slim architecture that has defined Edge since its inception. Beneath the dial sits the real engineering story: the Edge Calibre T9081, Titan’s in-house movement, built to a thickness of just 1.15mm. This miniature movement runs on stepper quartz technology and has been engineered component by component to deliver precision and reliability within an extraordinarily constrained space, the kind of quiet, compounding difficulty that defines serious watchmaking regardless of price point.
