Panorama Glass Lodges, Iceland

A family from Selfoss, south Iceland, had an idea in 2015 to create a romantic and unique getaway where you could watch northern lights and midnight sunrises right from your bed or private hot tub. That’s why they designed the Panorama Glass Lodges®. Their lodges were the first houses in Iceland (in 2017) where sleeping under a glass ceiling was possible. Since then, it has been the pioneer on the market, and more variations of glass houses have been built around Iceland after this concept has proven very popular.

The most important point was for their guests to have an amazing, comfortable, and unforgettable experience with enough privacy in the spectacular Icelandic scenery. Which is why instead of many houses on a tiny piece of land, they decided to build just a few houses on a massive piece of land to avoid the feeling of staying in a resort.

Even though the cabins are in nature, our guests can still enjoy luxury, high-quality standards, and extraordinary design.

Scandinavian houses inspire the shape of the Lodges, while the combination of wooden elements with steel and glass makes the Lodges unique. The interior is completely custom-made and sustainable, and a high value was placed on the details.
