Manish Malhotra Fine Jewellery Arrives on Tata CLiQ Luxury

The M Collection marks Malhotra’s first online fine jewellery boutique, bringing her designs to Tata CLiQ Luxury

Jewellery in India has always waited for a special occasions such as a wedding , a festival or a red carpet. Manish Malhotra just gave it a reason to stop waiting. With The M Collection, launching exclusively on Tata CLiQ Luxury, fine jewellery stops being an event and starts being a habit.

It’s a telling move for a name built on maximalism. Malhotra spent three decades defining what red-carpet and bridal India reaches for, i.e., an embroidery-heavy, opulence-first, occasion-bound fashion. The M Collection steps away from that grammar. These are pieces meant to sit on a wrist through a work week. To layer under a shirt collar. To travel from a boardroom to dinner without a costume change. The real story here isn’t a new product line. It’s a designer redefining what “precious” means for a consumer who wants her fine jewellery to behave more like her favourite watch or signet ring.

Beyond the Bridal Vault

The collection’s design backs that up. Malhotra’s own M insignia runs through every piece, reshaped across scale and material rather than repeated as a single motif. There are reversible M Studs. Layered necklaces and bracelets built for stacking. An elongated M Lariat. Knotted forms in the M Hand Knot and M Thumb Knot. The rings lean tactile and symbolic, with the Twin Ring, Charm Ring and Infinity Ring rounding out the edit.

The Infinity Bracelet does double duty, shape-shifting into a choker. It’s the kind of one-piece-does-two-things thinking that defines how modern luxury buyers actually shop. Malhotra even extends the insignia into menswear with M Buttons and Cufflinks, a small but pointed signal that this collection isn’t designing for one gender or one dress code. On materials, the palette trades bridal-red heaviness for considered, wearable minimalism by featuring18-karat gold and natural diamonds, alongside black diamonds, ceramic, malachite, black onyx and mother of pearl.

Jewellery Goes Online

The retail strategy matters as much as the design. This is Malhotra’s first online fine jewellery boutique. Handing exclusive digital retail to Tata CLiQ Luxury is a clear read of where India’s luxury consumer now lives. Increasingly, that’s on a screen, not just under a jeweller’s glass counter.

In a news release, Gopal Asthana, CEO of Tata CLiQ Luxury, called the tie-up a milestone for the platform’s growing fine jewellery vertical. He pointed to Malhotra’s ability to fuse contemporary design with the weight of Indian craft heritage, and to the launch’s role in making that heritage more accessible to a wider circle of shoppers. The collection will still live at Malhotra’s flagship stores for those who want the in-person ritual. But the online exclusivity positions Tata CLiQ Luxury as the designer’s digital front door.

The M Collection isn’t just a designer diversifying but it’s a marker of where Indian luxury jewellery is headed. It’s more subtle, more personal and finally comfortable being worn on a Tuesday.
