Once reserved for quirky limited editions, soft blues, muted greens, powdery pinks, and creamy champagnes are now front and centre at major watch fairs, celebrated for their ability to feel both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Frederique Constant has now unveiled two new Classics Première timepieces in blue (Ref. FC-301BL3B6B), and salmon (Ref. FC-301SAL3B6B) dial colours.
The 38.5mm watches get a stainless steel case, polished bezel, lugs, and a crown at 3 o’clock. The dials are circular brushed and sandblasted. The time-only collection gets Breguet Arabic hour markers, ‘pomme’ hour, minute, second hands, and a ‘railtrack’ minute on the outer periphery. The dials gets a grained matte finish on the central section and a circular sunray finish on the surrounding raised hour circle. Turning the watches showcases the Côtes de Genève patterned open caseback with a central rotor. Powering the watches is FC-301 calibre which is based on G100 La Joux-Perret movement offering a 68-hour power reserve. The watches come in a stainless steel bracelet with polished, satin finishing, and a folding buckle with push buttons.
