Delhi AQI is always the national news. We Delhiites genuinely believe that once AQI touches 150, it’s good air. Let me burst that bubble—gently, but firmly. A safe AQI is actually 0–50, where air poses no health hazard. 50–100 is considered satisfactory. 101–150? Still unsatisfactory.
While most people worry about what air pollution does to the lungs (rightfully so), the skin quietly takes a hit too. Particulate matter causes oxidative stress, making skin look dull, lustreless, tired, and far older than it actually is. Acne flares, sensitivity increases, and eczema-prone skin becomes even more reactive. Which brings us to why oxygen therapies are suddenly everywhere—from oxygen chambers and hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the body, to oxygen dome facials for the face—each claiming to undo some of the damage caused by polluted, toxic air.

What Is An Oxygen Dome Facial?
In simple words, an oxygen dome facial helps counter pollution-induced skin damage by neutralising reactive oxygen species (ROS). It uses highly concentrated oxygen enriched with anion molecules, which helps:
- Repair damaged cells
- Boost cellular immunity
- Deactivate overactive melanocytes
- Promote overall skin rejuvenation
How Is The Oxygen Dome Facial Done?
An Oxygen dome facial has 4 parts:
- An Oxygen generator: It can turn natural air into highly concentrated oxygen and deliver millions of anions
- An oxygen dome: a dome shaped mask that delivers this pure oxygen in a hyperbaric chamber
- An oxygen handpiece for customised product infusion and deeper exfoliation
- LED chamber for skin rejuvenation, anti- ageing and acne prevention
Benefits Of Oxygen Dome Facial
Oxygen facials—including oxygen dome facial and oxygeneo, work because oxygen sustains life at a cellular level. Oxygen supports aerobic ATP production, which is essential for: Cellular repair, regeneration and faster healing. An oxygen dome facial delivers up to 90% pure oxygen, boosting aerobic respiration in skin cells. The result? Skin that looks clearer, brighter, healthier, and feels supple and refreshed.

Additionally, oxygen helps deactivate reactive oxygen species (ROS)—one of the primary causes of premature ageing—thereby boosting collagen, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving overall skin quality.
What Are Anions (and Why They Matter)?
An underrated hero of this facial is anions, often called the “vitamins of air”. The oxygen dome produces up to 3000 times more anions than natural air. Anions help to reduce oxidative stress (ROS), improve blood circulation, enhance immunity, cleanse the vascular system, accelerate healing and revitalise cells. When combined in an Oxygen Dome Facial, this facial helps with even skin tone, reduced sun damage, softening of fine lines, delay in early ageing signs, better hydration, improved blood circulation and overall skin rejuvenation.
Don’ts After the Facial
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours
- Avoid steam or sauna for 3 days
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 7 days
Who Is It Suitable For?
- Anyone above 18 years
- Those wanting an instant “lit-from-within” glow
- With regular sessions, it helps even out skin tone and improve texture
When Should You Get An Oxygen Dome Facial?
- Before a red-carpet or important event
- As a monthly maintenance facial
- When your skin needs hydration (especially winters)
- To combat high AQI damage
- During spring to reduce pollen-induced skin sensitivity
- Or simply—for deep relaxation
What to Expect After the Facial?
You may notice mild flushing, which is completely normal and due to increased blood circulation. Your skin will appear clearer, brighter, evenly toned, and noticeably more radiant.
