Akshay Kumar has spent decades doing things at a pace that would make most people reach for a chair. Films, action sequences, comedy, drama, endorsements and, apparently, an unwillingness to take a normal number of days off. Now, as he prepares to arrive on screen in a rather more sinister avatar with Haiwaan, the actor is once again giving audiences something different to talk about. Directed by Priyadarshan, Haiwaan releases on September 11, 2026, and brings Kumar together with Saif Ali Khan after 18 years. This time, however, there is no straightforward hero act. Kumar plays an unapologetically dark character opposite Saif, who plays a visually impaired man caught in a tense cat and mouse thriller. And while the film gives Kumar plenty of opportunity to look menacing, his garage is considerably more interested in looking expensive.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Does The Heavy Lifting
Every celebrity garage needs one car that announces, without actually announcing anything, that the owner has done rather well for himself. For Kumar, that appears to be the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The Phantom has long been the definition of automotive excess without the need for vulgarity. Its enormous presence, handcrafted cabin and V12 powertrain make it less a car and more a moving declaration of importance. Reports have placed the Phantom among Kumar’s most notable cars, with the seventh generation model particularly associated with his collection. It is also rather appropriate for an actor whose career has reached the sort of scale where arriving somewhere quietly is probably no longer an option.

The Bentley Is For When A Rolls Royce Feels Too Serious
Then there is the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, which takes a slightly different approach to luxury. Where the Phantom is all ceremony, the Bentley has always been more interested in mixing its leather and wood with a healthy dose of performance. Earlier reports on Kumar’s collection list the Continental Flying Spur among his cars, powered by a substantial W12 in the version commonly associated with the collection. It is essentially the automotive equivalent of wearing a beautifully tailored suit and then putting on trainers because you have somewhere to be.

The Mercedes Benz GLS Keeps Things Practical
Then comes the Mercedes Benz GLS, a rather sensible choice by celebrity standards. The large luxury SUV has reportedly been one of Kumar’s more frequently seen cars, particularly around Mumbai. It provides the space, comfort and elevated driving position expected of a luxury SUV without demanding the theatrical entrance of a Phantom. And this perhaps says something about Kumar’s collection. It is not simply a list of cars bought because they are expensive. There is a mixture of luxury, practicality and performance.
Range Rover For The Bollywood Workhorse
The Range Rover Vogue completes another important part of the garage. Like the GLS, it offers the sort of comfort and road presence that makes sense for someone constantly moving between shoots, meetings and airports. Reports have also listed Mercedes Benz V Class and GL 350 models alongside the Range Rover, showing that Kumar’s collection has traditionally covered everything from chauffeur friendly luxury to everyday usability.
