Say what you will about Jennifer Lopez – her romances, her divorces, her career highs and lows, but there’s one universal truth the world can unanimously agree on: the woman knows how to deliver a look. And at the much-discussed wedding celebrations of Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju in Udaipur, JLo emerged as the undeniable focal point, not only for her electrifying live performance but for the breath-taking ensemble that lit up social media within seconds.
Crafted in a soft metallic rose-gold palette, Jennifer’s saree was a custom creation revived from the legendary Manish Malhotra archives – a couture piece reimagined for a moment destined to be iconic.
Intricately embroidered with mirror-sheen sequins arranged in geometric grids, the saree was draped in an architectural, asymmetric style, blending the sharp contours of a sculpted gown with the fluid grace of a traditional pallu.
The strapless corset sculpted Lopez’s waist into a dramatic, hourglass silhouette.
The look was further amplified by a dazzling gemstone set titled “Enchantment of Emeralds.” A statement choker stacked with pastel-toned precious stones, drop earrings, a maang-tikka and a coordinating bracelet brought an elegant contrast to the warm rose-gold canvas, striking the perfect balance between opulence and Indian heritage craftsmanship.
From November 21–23, Udaipur transformed into a breath-taking stage hosting leaders, celebrities, business titans and the world’s entertainment elite.
International figures such as Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson were among the attendees, while Bollywood royalty, including Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Dia Mirza, Amyra Dastur and Karan Johar arrived in full splendour.
The celebrations unfolded with theatrical magnificence, featuring live performances by Madhuri Dixit, Nora Fatehi, and a spellbinding act by Cirque du Soleil.
For her special day, Netra embraced tradition in a red lehenga embellished with intricate zari work and delicate hanging motifs that added more charm. The blouse mirrored the artistry with full-sleeve detailing, while a lace-trimmed dupatta and an extended veil-train infused the look with ceremonial elegance.
Her bridal look came together with opulent jewellery – a bold choker paired with a long necklace and an elegant matha patti. Finishing the ensemble, a sleek bun dressed in red florals rooted the aesthetic firmly in timeless Indian bridal tradition.
