Customers can configure the VLE with five to eight seats across three rows, choosing from newly developed seat designs that range from manually adjustable comfort seats to the luxurious Grand Comfort Seat with massage function, lumbar support, calf rest and wireless charging.
The innovative Roll & Go seating system allows manually operated seats to slide, fold or be removed entirely thanks to integrated wheels. Electrically adjustable seats can even be repositioned remotely via the infotainment system or smartphone app, enabling what Mercedes-Benz describes as a choreographed “seat ballet.” With all rear seats removed, the VLE offers up to 4,078 litres of cargo space, ensuring ample room for luggage, equipment or lifestyle gear.

Efficiency and range are central to the VLE’s electric powertrain. The initial VLE 300 electric delivers a range of more than 700 kilometres (WLTP), supported by a new battery with a usable capacity of 115 kWh. The vehicle’s advanced 800-volt architecture enables rapid charging, allowing the battery to recover up to 355 kilometres of range in just 15 minutes at a fast-charging station.
This capability makes long-distance travel significantly more convenient for drivers and passengers alike. A more powerful VLE 400 4MATIC electric variant will follow, producing over 300 kW and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.5 seconds, ensuring that performance matches the vehicle’s luxury ambitions.

Mercedes-Benz has developed a wide portfolio of configurations tailored to different lifestyles — from family transport and leisure vehicles to premium executive shuttles. Optimal propulsion and maximum traction are ensured by a powerful electric drive unit delivering up to 409 horsepower (305 kW) paired with 4MATIC all-wheel drive, allowing the vehicle to confidently handle long journeys, challenging terrain and demanding leisure activities. Meanwhile, luxury shuttle configurations can feature vis-à-vis seating layouts and enhanced comfort features, transforming the spacious interior into a refined environment ideal for executive transportation.
