Located in the Kubelisque Building on Pali Hill Road in Bandra West, Janhvi Kapoor’s duplex brings together contemporary design, family memories and spaces shaped for everyday living.

Step through its expansive interiors and the details unfold almost like scenes from a family drama: a painting by Sridevi, photographs gathered across generations, sunlight pouring through enormous windows and a private garden tucked away from the city.

The Bandra duplex, reportedly purchased by Janhvi Kapoor for INR 65 crore in November 2022, spans 8,669 square feet. Yet its appeal lies less in its price tag than in the way it folds together contemporary design, family history and spaces meant for everyday life. A private garden and five parking spaces are part of the property, while its interiors take cues from neoclassical design.

A Home Shaped By Memories

The main living room establishes the home’s visual language with marble flooring, an open layout and generous seating. A large window draws daylight deep into the room, while cooler-toned walls allow the artwork and furnishings to become the visual focus. At the centre of its emotional landscape is a painting created by Sridevi, one of her early large artworks, which gives the otherwise polished setting an intimate connection to the Kapoor family.

Family photographs appear throughout the residence, particularly along the corridor leading towards Janhvi’s bedroom. The arrangement turns what could have been a transitional passage into a visual archive, tracing personal memories alongside the family’s long association with Indian cinema. Her bedroom follows a softer palette, with eggshell-toned walls and photographs of Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Khushi, Anshula and Arjun Kapoor.
