After its grand return last year post a hiatus of five years, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025 is once again back starting today. The event to be hosted by American stylist Law Roach and entertainment journalist Zanna Rossi is taking place at the Brooklyn waterfront in New York City, which creates a dynamic backdrop for the world’s most-watched fashion runways.
The fashion show is set to bring with it loads of glamour, star power and drama along with electrifying performances by Madison Beer, Karol G, TWICE, and Missy Elliott amongst others. From K-pop anthems, pop music to Latin beats, the musical acts will reflect on the inclusive format of the show which drew criticism back in 2019 due to its non-inclusive nature.

The runway at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025 will bring a dazzling line-up of seasoned ‘Angels’ and new faces. Expect supermodels like Gigi Hadid, Stella Maxwell, Barbara Palvin, Candice Swanepoel, and Adriana Lima making their return to the ramp. Controversy around Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
The 2025 edition of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show shows the evolution for the iconic lingerie brand to become inclusive and promote diversity with musical acts and runway lineup. However, the fashion show had in the past drawn criticism for promoting a narrow, outdated, and hyper-sexualised image of women that many found did not align with the modern ideas around inclusivity in beauty. Further, the Victoria Secret brand landed up in controversies over comments seen reportedly as trans-phobic and fat-phobic. It also landed in soup for its ties to American financier and sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein. Its return last year, had models representing different body types, ethnicities, and gender identities, as well as all-female musical performances in an attempt to re-brand the Victoria Secret Fashion Show as diverse and inclusive show. The 2025 edition of the fashion show is also poised to continue with its message of inclusivity and diversity.
