Picture this: three girlfriends walk into a café. One swathed head-to-toe in Chanel, very much the boss lady. Another, the eternal “jo hoga dekhi jayegi” romantic, drifts in wearing a riotously colourful flea-market jacket, patched with stories and paired with unapologetic red boots from Yashwant Place. The third, polished ambition incarnate, wears a demure Brooks Brothers FW25 midi, layered under a sharp black blazer.
Before menus even open, there’s only one mission: phones come out, chairs are nudged into Instagram-perfect angles, and the table briefly transforms into a makeshift studio. If you’re smiling knowingly, it’s because you’ve done this – if not today, then certainly last weekend.
As winter settles in and the festive season draws near, brunches stretch into lazy afternoons, dinner dates turn into chats about your next getaway, and every outing with the squad becomes an excuse for the perfect photo op. Here’s our carefully curated list of Delhi NCR’s most Instagrammable cafés and restaurants – where good food, golden light, and perfectly framed corners are guaranteed, and where your girl gang can eat, laugh, sip, and just let your hair down.
Forest Table
This has quickly become one of my absolute favourite spots in Delhi – and one I cannot recommend enough. Launched recently, Forest Table lives up to its name: dining here feels like having a table nestled in the heart of a forest, only this forest sits luxuriously atop a terrace.

During my recent visit with my husband, I found myself chasing the perfect Instagram shot, wishing my girl gang were there instead – because when it comes to capturing all the right angles, girls never disappoint.
Perched amidst neem trees on the terrace of the Nehru Planetarium, Forest Table reimagines dining as an immersive experience, seamlessly blending Delhi’s history, landscape, and modern luxury. Spanning a stunning 30,000 sq. ft and brought to life by Beyond Designs, the space has been curated by owners Neha and Sachin Gupta with an unerring eye for detail – every corner is as beautiful as it is thoughtful. The colour palette is a soft, pista-green, minimalist yet utterly alluring, setting a calm, sophisticated tone. Even the washrooms are artful, hinting at the experience that awaits. By day, sunlight filters gently through the lush green branches, landing softly on each table and offering a quiet, contemplative pause. By night, the terrace transforms: heaters glow warmly above the tables, flickering candlelight dances across corners, and the cityscape becomes a distant, sparkling backdrop.

The food mirrors the setting: refined, and globally inspired. Shareable plates range from falafel with tzatziki and honey-chilli glazed lotus stem to coconut-coriander prawns and fromaggio wrappers with pepper ranch. Mushroom and truffle arancini sit alongside reimagined Indian delights like malai broccoli – each dish thoughtful, layered, and visually captivating.
Chica Delhi
There was a time when Chica Delhi welcomed you through an arched walkway thick with flowers, the air faintly perfumed with blossoms, leading into an open-air garden where a fountain murmured softly at the centre. Sunlight filtered through leaves, catching on water and stone, evoking the romance of a quintessential European courtyard.

Today, the space has been reimagined into something altogether deeper and more evocative. Under the vision of founders Dinesh Arora and Pooja Arora, Chica Delhi now unfolds as a Renaissance-inspired sanctuary – one rooted in earthy luxury, tactile design, and a thoughtful culinary philosophy. The palette is warm and grounded: burnished browns, muted terracottas, and sun-baked neutrals that feel comforting to the eye.

Green, organic elements weave through the space – potted foliage, natural finishes, subtle botanical accents, bringing a sense of calm and balance. The experience extends seamlessly to the table. Ingredient-first cooking anchors the menu, while a narrative-driven cocktail program adds intrigue. The menu is a celebration of bold flavours and thoughtful craftsmanship, designed for sharing and savouring.

Vibrant small plates – corn ceviche, edamame hummus, scarlet’s chicken, burrata fritta tease the palate with layered textures and playful flavours. Heartier dishes such as tandoori salmon, gochujang lime prawns, confit mutton ribs, and tamarind pepper smoked pork belly offer depth and indulgence without heaviness.
On Sundays, the mood softens further with Sunshine & Sips, Chica Delhi’s winter brunch ritual. Picture a table of girlfriends tucked into a sunlit corner, coats draped over chairs, sunglasses pushed into hair, plates slowly filling the table as glasses clink in between laughter.
Diggin Cafe

Now this is the kind of garden you actually want to visit with your girl gang, rewrite your stories here, drink, laugh, and let the winter sunlight mend whatever heartbreak you brought with you. Sound enticing? At Digging Cafe (Anand Lok) and its sister locations across the city, this leafy hideaway is a picture-perfect escape wrapped in fairy lights, tangled greens, patios, and open terraces made for leisurely sunlit meals. Every corner feels like a frame waiting for your next post. Here, towering plants and vines weave through the seating, casting playful shadows across rustic wooden tables and cushioned chairs.

Warm afternoon light filters through the foliage, while gentle fairy lights begin to twinkle as golden hours turn to twilight, making every moment feel like a scene straight out of a dream.

This season, the café’s new menu is built around warmth and comfort – steaming soups to chase off the chill, crisp winter salads bursting with fresh greens, and indulgent mains you’ll want to share.
Vicoli
Vicoli, the newly launched European-inspired fine dining restaurant and bar on Golf Course Road, is the kind of place you’ll want to gather your girl gang for. Every corner is just right for that perfect Instagram shot – soaring arches, textured walls, soft golden lighting, and touches of greenery create a space that’s as photogenic as it is inviting. From brunch to sundowners, the terrace offers panoramic skyline views of Gurugram, perfect for capturing sun-drenched posts or golden-hour selfies with cocktails in hand.

The restaurant takes inspiration from Europe’s intimate alleyways, and it shows. Every table feels like a private nook, ideal for long conversations and laughter that stretches on. The interiors – warm, layered, and thoughtfully designed, make even the smallest details Instagram-worthy, from the cascading greenery to the elegant lighting that transforms the space as the day moves into night.

The menu is just as captivating as the setting. Plates are meant to be shared and of course, photographed! Charcoal hummus, garlic butter lamb chops, prawn pil pil, chicken ragu pappardelle, and delicate touches like baked pears and avocado lime toast.

Whether it’s a sunny weekend brunch, a relaxed afternoon lunch, or an evening of sparkling cocktails and laughter, Vicoli feels like a space especially built for your Instagram feed.
Café Du Jardin At Asita Park
L’Opéra, Delhi’s renowned French pâtisserie and salon de thé, has partnered with the Delhi Development Authority to launch Café Du Jardin at Asita Park. Set along the restored Yamuna floodplain, the open-air café spreads across 197 hectares of greenery, wetlands, and bird habitats, offering a quiet escape from the city. The design is understated yet striking.

Wooden tables beneath native trees, sunlight spilling across pathways, and serene river views create a space that feels both relaxed and intentional. Every corner invites a pause – whether it’s a sunlit brunch, a stroll along winding paths, or a golden-hour moment over the floodplain. The menu matches the setting. Freshly baked French pastries, light meals, picnic-ready snacks, and refreshing beverages ideal for sharing, lingering, and yes -photographing. Even the Rs. 50 park entry ticket is redeemable at the café, a thoughtful touch that invites visitors to linger.

Café du Jardin is definitely a space to slow down, connect, and soak in nature. Ideal for an afternoon with the girl gang.

Dappled sunlight filters through the leaves of a majestic banyan tree, casting playful patterns across the alfresco tables, a scene as timeless as it is picture-perfect. Step upstairs to the terrace bar, and the cityscape unfolds in all its charm. Diners sip carefully crafted cocktails as the Qutub Minar rises in the distance, its sandstone silhouette catching the last blush of sunset.
