International Cake Day, celebrated every year on November 26, pays tribute to the universal joy and culture built around one of the world’s most beloved desserts. And just in time, the cake at the multi-million dollar Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju’s viral Udaipur wedding became a talking-point for its magnificent custom-made design. The towering all-white creation inspired by Rajasthan’s royal palaces was sculpted with imageries of domes, chhatris(umbrellas),  jharokhas, intricate carvings, and figurines of elephants, peacocks and tigers turning it almost like a eatable miniature palace. The base of the cake had stair-like details and was decorated with floral motifs, and edible silver accents making it just too beautiful to cut.

The masterpiece was crafted by Paris-based luxury cake designer Bastien Blanc-Tailleur known for crafting unbelievably marvelous cakes for high-profile clientale. He shared the video of the viral Udaipur wedding cake on Instagram, captioning, “Yesterday in the city palace of Udaipur, we celebrated the wedding of Netra and Vamsi. #congratulations. With a cake inspired by the rajasthan architecture and emblematic animals from India. And also with a live performance of @jlo  Like the bride, Jennifer Lopez was wearing a dress made by @eliesaab.”

Who Created Netra Mantena–Vamsi Gadiraju’s Wedding Cake?

Born in Annecy, France,Chef  Bastien Blanc-Tailleur discovered his passion for pastry early in life. After mastering his skills at prestigious Parisian kitchens and spending a decade perfecting the craft of luxury cake making, he opened his own creation studio in 2015.
