Jessica Biel Reveals New Wine Brand Prophet & Poet: From Hollywood to Napa

Jessica Biel, renowned actress and producer, has ventured into the world of winemaking with the launch of her new label, Prophet & Poet. Debuting at the prestigious BottleRock Napa Valley festival on May 22, 2025, the brand is a heartfelt collaboration between Biel, her brother Justin Biel, and esteemed winemaker Jesse Katz.

Prophet & Poet began as a one-of-a-kind wedding present from Katz, who created customised wine blends for Biel’s and her brother’s weddings. The trio decided to turn their personal blends into a business endeavour in order to bring their enthusiasm to a wider audience owing to the wines’ remarkable ageing.

Prophet & Poet’s inaugural 2021 vintage showcases a selection of unfiltered and unfined wines, emphasizing purity and authenticity. The collection features varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, with grapes sourced from the esteemed Jackson Family Wines vineyards. Katz, known for his expertise with cool-climate Bordeaux varieties, oversees the winemaking process at his Aperture Cellars facility.

The brand’s aesthetic is deeply personal, drawing inspiration from Tarot symbolism—a reflection of Biel’s spiritual interests. Each label is thoughtfully designed to evoke introspection and connection, transforming each bottle into a narrative experience.

At BottleRock 2025, Biel personally introduced Prophet & Poet to festival-goers, pouring wines in the VIP Platinum Lounge. The event also featured a memorable moment when her husband, Justin Timberlake, headlined the festival and donned a T-shirt emblazoned with Biel’s image, showcasing their mutual support and affection.

Prophet & Poet’s debut has been met with acclaim, with two wines receiving perfect 100-point scores from the International Wine Report. The brand is now available for direct purchase and at select tastings, inviting wine enthusiasts to partake in its unique blend of artistry and tradition.
