Prophet & Poet began as a one-of-a-kind wedding present from Katz, who created customised wine blends for Biel’s and her brother’s weddings. The trio decided to turn their personal blends into a business endeavour in order to bring their enthusiasm to a wider audience owing to the wines’ remarkable ageing.

Prophet & Poet’s inaugural 2021 vintage showcases a selection of unfiltered and unfined wines, emphasizing purity and authenticity. The collection features varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, with grapes sourced from the esteemed Jackson Family Wines vineyards. Katz, known for his expertise with cool-climate Bordeaux varieties, oversees the winemaking process at his Aperture Cellars facility.
