The property features three bungalows, complete with wooden interiors, rustic accents, large windows, a gym, and a swimming pool.
The design language throughout is earthy and warm – mahogany tones, leather couches, wooden flooring. Large French windows, wooden flooring, and rustic interiors frame views of water bodies, lush greenery, and scenic mountains, making it feel closer to a countryside haven than anything resembling a film star’s weekend retreat.

The luxurious pool area exudes a private resort vibe with elegant sun loungers, towering palm trees, and a tranquil Buddha sculpture that adds a calming charm to the scenic outdoor retreat. There is also a well-equipped private gym on the premises, which Salman uses seriously and regularly, continuing the fitness discipline he is known for. What ties the whole property together, though, is not the architecture or the amenities. It is the land. 150 acres of it, most of it green, much of it farmed.
Salman Khan: The Actor Who Grows His Own Food
This is the part that surprises people most about Salman Khan. He does not just own a farmhouse the way celebrities own farmhouses, like weekend retreats to pose in front of trees. He actually farms.
The estate has a large garden area where the actor grows fruits and vegetables. During the lockdown, he shared several videos of himself working on the farm, including clips of him driving a tractor and engaging in farming activities. The vast farming plots kept the family occupied during the COVID-19 lockdown, and what could have been a grim period of isolation became, at Arpita Farms, something closer to a slow, productive village retreat.

The Horses He Loves Like Family
If the farming is one side of Salman’s life here, the horses are the other. He has spoken about them in interviews, posted videos with them, and by most accounts, would sooner cancel a film commitment than miss his time with them in the morning. The extensive grounds also include stables, farm animals, and natural terrain perfect for exploration. Dogs, goats, and other animals have always been part of the picture there.
The estate has a cave with a waterfall, misty mountains, and a small river that the family crosses on foot during visits. His nephews Arhaan and Nirvan have posted photos of themselves doing exactly this- ATV rides, nature walks, riverside strolls, none of it planned or filtered for Instagram.
