Exploring themes from Pride history to Mughal-inspired and desi Met Gala-style performances, the series continues with shows on June 19 and June 21 featuring artists from India and Vietnam.
Queer Made Weekend
Now in its fifth edition, Queer Made Weekend brings together queer-owned businesses, live performances, music and community experiences under one roof. Curated by Gaysi Family in partnership with Tinder, the festival returns on June 27, celebrating the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of India’s LGBTQIA+ community.
SatRangM
Held at Pune’s Maharashtra Cultural Centre, SatRangaM is one of India’s largest queer theatre festival, bringing together LGBTQIA+ playwrights, directors, performers and choreographers from across the country. The six-day event in Pune between June 16 and June 21 features theatre productions, contemporary dance, drag performances, workshops and panel discussions celebrating diverse queer voices and artistic expression. The festival is produced by Deep Design and the festival director Deepa D, who is also queer. This festival is by, for, and with the queer community.
Satrangi Mehfil (Ahmedabad)
An initiative by the GQP Foundation, Satrangi Mehfil celebrates the diversity of queer artistic expression through a curated showcase of regional painters, musicians and performers. Hosted at the Alliance Française de Ahmedabad on June 27, 2026, the event brings together creative voices from across the community, offering audiences an opportunity to engage with contemporary queer art, live performances and cultural storytelling. Blending creativity with community, Satrangi Mehfil highlights the growing influence of queer artists within India’s evolving cultural landscape.
Queer Bazaar 2026
Bringing together queer entrepreneurs, artists and independent creators, Queer Bazaar 2026 celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and community through a vibrant marketplace experience. Hosted simultaneously at The LaLiT New Delhi, The LaLiT Great Eastern Kolkata and The LaLiT Mumbai on June 27, 2026, the event will showcase everything from fashion, art and handmade crafts to books, home décor and lifestyle products. More than a shopping destination, Queer Bazaar serves as a platform for visibility and entrepreneurship, highlighting the growing influence of queer-owned businesses within India’s creative economy.
