Apple is gearing up for an offline retail push in India, preparing to open a new store in Noida on December 11. This marks its third India outlet this year after it opened in Pune and Bengaluru in 2025. The company is aiming to strengthen its position among the country’s top five smartphone brands by volume and is also planning a second Mumbai outlet in 2025, signalling an ambitious expansion in one of its fastest-growing markets.

“We love our customers in India, and this truly is a milestone year for Apple retail in the country. We’re thrilled to be opening our third store this year, and fifth in total — Apple Noida — and to have the chance to connect with even more communities,” Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail and people, said in an interview to Moneycontrol.

O’Brien noted that Apple’s next phase of expansion highlights its long-term commitment to India, with another Mumbai launch slated for next year. “With the opening of Apple Noida, Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park this year, we look forward to creating more meaningful connections and bringing only-at-Apple experiences to more customers across India,” she added.

The Noida outlet, located in DLF Mall of India, joins Apple’s widening network across the country. “Our five retail stores together with Apple Store online and Apple Store app, give customers even more choice in how they shop for Apple products,” O’Brien reportedly said.

This retail push comes amid a high demand and major manufacturing milestone. “For the first time, all iPhone 17 models and the Air are being made in India — a reflection of our deepening relationship with the country,” O’Brien said, adding that response to the newest iPhones has been particularly encouraging.

Earlier this month, Apple also expanded its service offerings by launching AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for its latest devices.

In September this year, Apple had its biggest launch with the drop of iPhone 17 line-up including iPhone 17,  iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air, at the much-anticipated 2025 Apple ‘Awe-Dropping’ event at California.

“We have been innovating and delivering exceptional products and services in India for over 25 years, building meaningful connections with customers and communities, and this next phase of growth reflects our continued commitment to India with another store opening in Mumbai next year as our retail journey expands with energy and purpose,” she further said.

As per reports, Apple is expected to maintain robust double-digit growth over the next few years. It will be driven by rising demand for iPhones and growing traction for iPads, MacBooks, and wearables.
