Set against the palatial charm of Udaipur, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding unfolded as a thoughtfully designed celebration where décor and visual storytelling played as central a role as tradition itself.

The festivities began on February 23 at the luxury hotel ITC Mementoes. The couple welcomed close friends and family with an intimate Japanese dinner. The celebrations continued with fun-filled activities like a friendly cricket match and water volleyball. As the celebrations progressed, the aesthetic decoration became increasingly apparent. Their Haldi ceremony drew inspiration from Holi, with pictures showing marigolds in baskets and rose petals adorning a massive Haldi tub with Rushi and Vijay imprinted on the flower decoration. The daytime affair had cane-work chairs and elegant butter-yellow finished tablescaping that added to summery vibes. Sangeet transformed into a lively spectacle, with music, movement and layered lighting creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflected the couple’s playful energy.

On February 26, the wedding day brought together heritage opulence and floral decoration. The venue was dressed with a rich tapestry of blooms — roses, carnations, althea, orchids and mogra for a dreamy visual language. Further, banana stems and banana leaves were used in decoration to honour the couple’s Telugu and Kodava roots during two distinct ceremonies held on the same day.
The vision for the celebration was brought to life by Hyderabad-based RVR Eventz & Design. The luxury wedding planning company has previously done weddings of PV Sindhu & Venkata Datta Sai, Shravya Varma & Srikanth Kidambi, Shubashree Jayk & Vinay Sriniketh Pedapati, Karthikeya Rajamouli & Pooja Prasad, and Aashritha Daggubati & Vinayak Reddy.

Known for crafting emotionally resonant weddings, the team focused on translating Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding sensibilities into a floral-inspired wedding decor, against the heritage backdrop of ITC Mementos while also adding the fun element with outdoor games, and elegant dinners and brunches.
Equally significant was the emotional documentation of the wedding. The celebrations were captured by Bengaluru-based House On The Clouds, a luxury wedding photography and filmmaking firm known for doing celebrity weddings of Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani, Designers Arpita Mehta & Kunal Rawal, Athiya Shetty & KL Rahul, Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha, Lavanya Tripathi & Varun Tej, Kriti Kharbanda & Pulkit Samrat, Aditi Rao Hydari & Siddharth, Sobhita Dhulipala & Naga Chaitanya, and most recently the wedding of Prateik Babbar & Priya Banerjee.

Known for approaching weddings as lived experiences rather than staged ceremonies, their lens focused on all the special as well as quiet moments at Virosh’s wedding— from the happy exchanges, Rashmika’s teary-eyed look during the wedding, Deverakonda’s powerful horse-riding, to culturally-distinct rituals.

Together, it made the wedding an immersive experience steeped in culture, design tradition, emotion and happiness.
