Lingerie couture is barely heard of in India. However in a never-seen-before collaboration, lingerie brand Enamor makes a bold fashion statement with homegrown luxury label Papa Don’t Preach on Day 2 of Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI with a striking collection titled ‘A Luxury Curation’.
Drawing inspiration from “Autumn Celestial Energy,” the collection married high fashion with elegance. It was a celebration of modern femininity where the collection aimed to make women feel beautiful inside-out. Soon the pink carpet was rolled on the ramp and models strutted corsets, slip dresses, lace bralettes, lingerie with flowy shimmery capes, and balconettes which were elevated to couture-level pieces with bejewelled surface textures, lace work and satins.

Further the colour scheme of sensuous midnight hues, fiery scarlets and radiant ivories carried seduction in every drape and feel. The goal was simple, to make every woman feel powerful, uninhibited and exquisitely themselves. The highlight of the show was actor-model Ayesha Kanga’s entrance in a glittering midnight blue bodysuit paired with a dramatic tiered black veil and tights, radiating modern celestial glamour.

Speaking about the collection, Shekhar Tewari, Chief Executive Officer Modenik Lifestyle said, “The collaboration is more than just a fashion lingerie collection; it is a bold couture statement at the Lakmē Fashion Week. Enamor has always been the trendsetter in fashion, constantly challenging our status-quo within the category and now we’re reversing the script for luxury lingerie by blending our expertise in craftsmanship with Papa Don’t Preach and Shubhika’s signature, bold, otherworldly and narrative-driven designs. Bringing in her vision of transcending lingerie into luxury and couture, Enamor X PDP – A Luxury Curation elevates fashion lingerie, to be celebrated, adorned and revolutionised.”

“Enamor X PDP – ‘A Luxury Curation’ reminds me that the rarest alignments are the truest ones. This collection is about a woman’s two universes, the one she shows the world, radiant and resplendent, and the one she keeps within, intimate and infinite. When these worlds meet, there is no inside and no outside, only wholeness. That is the revolution we are dreaming of – to let adornment turn itself inside out, to let luxury begin where intimacy resides, and to let a woman be seen exactly as she is – rare, complete and aligned,” said Shubhika Sharma, Founder and Creative Director, Papa Don’t Preach.

Together, Enamor and Papa Don’t Preach delivered one of the most captivating moments of the runway season celebrating every woman who dares to dream.
