Following the footsteps of the successful launch of the India special mangalsutra a few years ago, this is Bulgari’s second attempt in the recent times to create something exclusive for the Indian market, this time focusing on men. Priced at Rs.12,10,000, this elegant kada represents the aspiration of the globetrotting modern Indian men while keeping in touch with the tradition of yellow gold, that Indians are so fond of. We caught up with the actor who has given us countless hits like Vicky Donor, Article 15 and Bareilly Ki Barfi and asked him how it feels to be a part of the Bulgari universe.

Ah, my journey with Bulgari has been nothing short of exhilarating! Being the face of Bulgari’s India Exclusive B.zero1 Kada Bracelet is truly an honour. I’ve always admired Bulgari for its timeless elegance and innovative craftsmanship, and now, being a part of the family is a dream come true. What I love the most about Bulgari is its ability to blend tradition with a modern twist perfectly. The B.zero1 Kada Bracelet, in particular, is a perfect example of this fusion – a stylish masterpiece that pays tribute to the brand’s and India’s rich heritage. The way Bulgari continues to push boundaries in design while staying rooted in its Italian roots is truly commendable.

3. Tell us your three most memorable moments in your acting career.
Choosing three standout moments from my acting career is tough, but if I have to pick, winning two Filmfare awards in my debut year was a surreal beginning. I got an award for debutant in Vicky Donor and also playback singer for “Paani Da Rang” from the same film.
Then, bagging the National Award was another true validation and that moment is etched in my memory forever. Also being chosen by the prestigious TIME magazine last year (2023) and attending the TIME 100 Impact awards was a dream-like moment. At the beginning of my career, I was aware that I had to make unconventional choices and go down the road less traveled however the broader impact of my work – makes it even more worthwhile! Each of these moments hold a special place in my heart, fueling my passion for pushing boundaries and making a meaningful contribution to the world of cinema.
4. Bulgari earlier released the mangalsutra for the Indian market, and now the Kada, do you feel it is India’s time to shine in the global luxe stage?
It is truly heartwarming to witness Bulgari embracing and paying tribute to our rich traditions. This progressive move not only infuses an air of cultural luxury into their collection but also serves as a testament to India’s burgeoning influence on the global luxury landscape.
5. How do you describe yourself as an actor and how important is timing when it comes to acting?
As an actor, I see myself as a versatile storyteller, diving into diverse roles to bring authenticity to each character. Timing is the heartbeat of a scene, and just like in life, it plays a pivotal role in acting. It’s the rhythm that elevates a good performance to an unforgettable one. Similarly, in fashion, like Bulgari’s India Exclusive B.zero1 Kada Bracelet, timing is the key – choosing the right moment to let individual style shine.
