House of Amrapali, Evoluzione, and SR Artefacts have come together to unveil their new flagship store in Mumbai, a one-of-a-kind collaboration between three creative powerhouses. This store ushers in a new chapter in experiential luxury retail. At the heart of this collaboration lies a reimagined space that is part gallery, part temple, and wholly a tribute to India’s artistic legacy.

Spanning 4,200 sq ft across two storeys, the store is thoughtfully divided into zones for fine jewellery, silverware, and curated fashion, each with its own ambiance, while maintaining a cohesive, flowing experience. Rooted in timeless design, the store is more than just a retail space; it is an immersive experience that merges House of Amrapali’s rich jewellery traditions, Evoluzione’s contemporary curation, and SR Artefacts’ rare collectibles and antique craftsmanship.

An Ode To Heritage: About The Collection

House of Amrapali, which encompasses Amrapali Jewels, is known for its exquisite fine jewellery, and Tribe Amrapali offers contemporary silver jewellery. Together, these two lines celebrate the rich heritage and innovative designs that define the brand. The store features 1000+ handcrafted fine jewellery from Amrapali Jewels and 1500+ silver jewellery from Tribe Amrapali. Evoluzione curates a selection of 35+ designer labels, including Pret and Couture , with each label bringing its unique voice to the evolving narrative of Indian fashion. SR Artefacts brings together over 500+ handcrafted collectibles, including antique silverware, temple idols, ceremonial objects, and meticulously restored heritage pieces, each echoing India’s rich artisanal legacy. The store also features a curated selection of Ananya Fine Jewellery – a London-based fine jewellery brand founded by Ananya Malhotra. Known for its Chakra collection, the brand blends traditional Indian spiritual motifs with contemporary design, focusing on the healing properties of coloured gemstones.

A Rich Showcase: About The Store Design

From the moment one steps in, the mood is regal yet serene. A soft neutral palette, warm lighting, and statement architecture set the tone. The interior showcases a soft, neutral palette with polished marble flooring and ambient lighting that accentuates the finely curated jewellery and fashion displays. The furniture, from plush chairs to carved silver thrones, evokes a royal charm, balanced perfectly by the modern glass showcases and clean architectural lines.

A key design feature is the staircase wrapped in Thikri mirror work, inspired by the Sheesh Mahal of Rajasthani palaces, where entire walls were adorned with mirrors. Spanning a dramatic double-height space, it features Amrapali’s signature lotus motif and wall panels crafted to resemble antique relics, newly made yet timeless in feel.

The archway leading into the main jewellery room is a showstopper. Crafted over 1,200 hours by Jaipur artisans, it reimagines Thikri with coloured glass, mirrored inlays, and intricate motifs of flora and fauna, reviving tradition with a modern lens. The trial rooms feature hand-painted motifs by Rajasthani local artisans, inspired by traditional palace art. Reimagined in a modern way, the design uses edgier colours and stylised floral elements while retaining old-world charm through geometric patterns like angled triangles and squares that echo the honeycomb effect seen in historic forts and havelis.

The exterior facade is distinctive and commanding, especially with the glowing green malachite sheet panelling and the arched doorway, which gives the entrance a temple-like gravitas while inviting curiosity and admiration.

Commenting on the launch, Tarang Arora, CEO and Creative Director of Amrapali Jewels, said, “With the launch of our new flagship store in collaboration with Evoluzione and SR Artefacts in Mumbai, our vision was to bring together culture and craftsmanship in their purest forms. From design to detailing, every element has been thoughtfully curated to celebrate Indian artistry in a setting that feels both intimate and grand.’’

Adding to this, “Our vision was to create a space where jewellery goes beyond adornment, where every piece holds meaning and tells a story,” says Akanksha Arora, CEO of Tribe Amrapali. “By integrating rare crafts, antique elements, and modern interpretations, we’ve built a space that reflects the ethos of all three brands, refined, rooted, and relevant.”

Tina and Atul Malhotra, Co-founders from Evoluzione added, “At Evoluzione, we’ve always believed in redefining luxury through meaningful curation, and this collaboration brings that belief to life in its most dynamic form. This flagship store brings that philosophy to life by offering a space where fashion, tradition, and modernity co-exist effortlessly.”

Vandana Sarawgi, conceptualiser and Designer for SR Artefacts, shared, “This space was envisioned as more than a store—it’s a living museum of sorts. Through architectural details, heritage objects, and symbolic materials, we’ve created a dialogue between the past and the present. It’s a place where memory, craft, and design come together to stir emotion and invite reflection.”

Together, House of Amrapali, Evoluzione, and SR Artefacts have created more than a retail destination; they’ve crafted an experience. One that invites every visitor to explore, reflect, and celebrate the enduring beauty of Indian artistry.
