Favre Leuba’s return in 2024 marked more than a revival; it signalled a measured and confident reawakening of one of watchmaking’s oldest names. Founded in 1737, Favre-Leuba carries a legacy built on exploration, utility, and enduring design, and at Watches and Wonders 2026, that legacy finds a clear and purposeful direction. The unveiling of the new Triple Calendar and Harpoon Revival collections reflects a brand that understands its past but is no longer defined by it, balancing classical complication with bold reinterpretation. The Triple Calendar brings structure, legibility, and traditional watchmaking codes into a modern context, while the Harpoon Revival reintroduces one of its most distinctive designs with renewed clarity and intent. Together, these collections do not simply expand the catalogue; they establish a foundation for what Favre Leuba aims to be today, precise, relevant, and quietly confident in its place within contemporary horology.
Harpoon Revival

The Favre-Leuba Harpoon Revival is presented in a compact 36.8mm stainless steel round case with a polished finish, paired with a clean steel bezel and a crown embossed with the brand’s signature hourglass monogram, immediately grounding it in its historical identity at 3 o’clock. The grey sunray brushed dial sets a restrained yet characterful tone, brought to life by applied rhodium plated hour markers inspired by the original 1966 design, including the distinctive horizontal orientation at 12 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock that sets the Harpoon apart from conventional layouts. A framed date aperture at 3 o’clock adds structure and clarity, while the “Harpoon” signature at six o’clock appears in its original stylised typography, reinforcing its vintage lineage.

Rhodium plated hands, filled with Super LumiNova C1 X2 GL emitting a green glow, ensure legibility in low light, complementing the metallic framed date window and overall balanced dial composition. Beneath the surface lies the FLD04 calibre, based on the La Joux Perret G100, a self winding movement delivering a robust 68-hour power reserve. The closed steel caseback continues the narrative, featuring precision chemical engraving with the hourglass emblem at its centre, surrounded by period correct typography and the original circular inscription layout, echoing the medallion found on the historic model. Completing the watch is a black leather strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, equipped with an integrated easy change system, ensuring both practicality and a seamless connection to its heritage inspired design.

1737 Triple Calendar

The Favre-Leuba Triple Calendar is housed in a refined 39mm stainless steel round case, paired with a crown at 3 o’clock embossed with the brand’s signature hourglass monogram, reinforcing its identity with subtle authority. The dial presents a sunray finished centre enriched by applied Roman and stick indexes, while a brushed pointer date track encircles the display, contrasted by a minutes track with a record turning finish that adds depth and visual rhythm. At 12 o’clock, twin apertures clearly indicate the day and month, while a moonphase display at 6 o’clock introduces a poetic dimension, bringing balance and a sense of astronomical continuity to the layout.

The pointer date scale frames the dial with clarity, its brushed texture standing apart from the radiant centre for enhanced legibility and structure. Turning the watch over reveals an exhibition caseback, offering a clear view of the gold finished movement, adorned with multiple decorative finishes that reflect careful craftsmanship.

Powering the watch is the FLD06 calibre, a self winding movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, equipped with 25 jewels and delivering a 56 hour power reserve. The watch brings together a full triple calendar complication, displaying day, date, month, and moon phase with coherence and ease. Completing the piece is a blue leather strap secured by a stainless steel pin buckle, featuring an integrated easy change system for added versatility and everyday practicality.
