As the Holiday Season is just a month away, DAMAC Properties, one of the region’s most renowned private luxury developers has unveiled DAMAC Islands 2, its seventh master-planned community in Dubai. The waterfront living project is designed as a tropical escape within the city, taking inspiration from popular tropical travel destinations like Antigua, Barbados, Bahamas, Bermuda, Maui, Mauritius, Cuba, and Tahiti. The project is imagined with turquoise lagoons, lush greenery, and a resort-style escape away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai.
The grand reveal took place at the Coca-Cola Arena hosted by DAMAC Group Founder and Chairman Hussain Sajwani and Managing Director of DAMAC Properties, Amira Sajwani. The highlight of the event was that it drew star power with Bollywood icons Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt making a special appearance, alongside celebrated Arab singer Majid Al Mohandis during the reveal at the event. The celebrity couple also featured in an Instagram video reveal of the project on DAMAC Official handle captioned, “Paradise isn’t just a place. It’s a state of mind. With Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, experience DAMAC Islands 2 where every moment flows to the rhythm of the sea. At this island escape, waterfront luxury meets tranquility, and living becomes an art inspired by the island lifestyle.”

DAMAC Islands 2 emphasises on wellness and nature-led design. This design ethos is a rarity in Dubai’s vertically inclined landscape. The project features floating decks, outdoor spas, and serene pavilions allowing residents to enjoy a sense of retreat without ever leaving the city. The size of the homes is a big pull including six-bedroom villas (~583 sqm), five-bedroom twin villas (~324 sqm), and four- and five-bedroom townhouses ranging from ~203 to 293 sqm with prices beginning at ₹6.5 crore.

Its launch comes during a record-shattering year for Dubai real estate. In the first 290 days of 2025, sales hit AED 525.87 billion, surpassing 2024’s figures. To celebrate the arrival of DAMAC Islands 2, the real-estate developer has announced a global contest titled “The Ultimate Islander”. One lucky winner will earn an all-expenses-paid escape and a unique role with DAMAC where they get a chance to live and work on one of the eight islands.
