Louis Vuitton Launches Virtuosity High Jewellery Collection With Ana de Armas As Its Face

The House ambassador brings radiant elegance to Louis Vuitton’s newest haute joaillerie collection, blending iconic craftsmanship with daring imagination

June 9, 2025

In the shimmering world of haute joaillerie, few partnerships feel as effortlessly aligned as that of Ana de Armas and Louis Vuitton. The Cuban-Spanish actress—already a familiar face of the Maison—steps into a glittering new role as the face of Virtuosity, Louis Vuitton’s latest High Jewellery Collection. Fresh off a red carpet tour for her upcoming film Ballerina, de Armas now stars in a campaign that not only highlights her timeless glamour but also showcases the depth of Louis Vuitton’s commitment to craftsmanship and creative daring.

The Virtuosity collection is a remarkable tribute to high artistry, laid out with the elegance and grandeur that one would expect from the French luxury brand. The collection’s 110 unique pieces, which are organised into twelve thematic parts, are all based on the concept of duality. The World of Mastery and the World of Creativity are two broad and lyrical universes that further group them. Each world symbolises a different aspect of Louis Vuitton’s philosophy, which includes innovative design and technical mastery.

Ana de Armas, who has consistently wowed with her red carpet ensembles during the Ballerina press circuit, is the ideal muse for this collection. Whether in custom Vuitton couture gowns or airport-ready monogrammed accessories, her style effortlessly balances poise with presence. For Virtuosity, she brings that very same energy—sophisticated yet bold—to the lens of celebrated fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø.

Embodied by House Ambassador Ana de Armas, Apogée captures the ascent to ultimate excellence in a lustrous culmination of a 30.75-carat Brazilian drop emerald and an exceptional 10.56-carat LV Monogram Star cut diamond — a dazzling tribute to skilled virtuosos.

Showcased by de Armas with a pure radiance, the exquisite necklace of Eternal Sun glows at the apex of brilliance with 27 yellow diamonds, an exclusive 3.88-carat LV Monogram Star cut diamond, and a magnificent 14-carat round yellow diamond — a breathtaking golden spiral expressing genius through minimalism.

The campaign gains an extra dimension thanks to Sundsbø’s graphic direction. He frames the jewellery and de Armas in an almost unearthly way and is renowned for his ability to strike a balance between raw emotion and surrealism. However, the emphasis is still firmly rooted in craftsmanship despite the ethereal environment. Each picture highlights the intricate details of the pieces—the painstakingly carved stones, the creative silhouettes, and the unexpected materials—all of which are brought to life by the glimmer of de Armas’ stance and gaze.

Virtuosity is more than simply jewellery; it’s a symbol of precision, innovation, and imagination. The collection honours skilled craftspeople who work behind the scenes to shape, set, polish, and perfect each gemstone using both scientific precision and poignant storytelling. Louis Vuitton’s approach to high jewellery is marked by a blend of hand and heart.

Every piece, from bold necklaces that shimmer with architectural intensity to rings and earrings that resemble little sculptures, feels like a dialogue between classic craftsmanship from the past and modern aesthetics. Furthermore, these pieces feel alive and wearable thanks to de Armas; they are infused with movement and emotion, elevating them beyond mere ornaments to the status of expressions.

For de Armas, the campaign marks yet another milestone in her blossoming relationship with the brand. From sitting front row at fashion week to becoming a style icon in her own right, she has become synonymous with Louis Vuitton’s modern femininity—confident, charismatic, and unmistakably chic.

As the Virtuosity campaign begins its rollout—first digitally from June 5th, followed by a global print release on June 22nd—it sets the stage for a new chapter in Louis Vuitton’s high jewellery narrative. One where the star power of a beloved actress, the vision of a celebrated photographer, and the mastery of world-class artisans come together in a powerful visual symphony.

Whether you see it as an artistic manifesto, a couture jewellery collection, or a beautiful new face of fashion fantasy, Virtuosity is a reminder that luxury isn’t just about possession—it’s about passion, precision, and above all, presence. With Ana de Armas front and center, Louis Vuitton has once again turned high jewellery into high storytelling.
