Luxury designer Supria Munjal, known for her exquisite Indian and western wear, has opened her first flagship store in Delhi’s Ambawatta. The 1,550 sq. ft. new store is more than just a boutique; it is an immersive world built on emotion, memory, and artistry, championing understated luxury. The store is built on the idea of merging Eastern sensibilities with Western refinement, where Indian heritage meets contemporary minimalism in clothing as well as the store’s design.

At the core of the new Delhi store’s interior design lies a story close to Munjal’s heart. Her grandmother, when asked to pick a favourite child or grandchild, would simply say that each was like a bloom in her garden — unique in character, yet collectively creating harmony. This philosophy of individuality within unity became the poetic foundation of the flagship’s design.

“We believe that couture is more than fashion; it is a narrative. The store is designed as a symphony of our craft, a space where every detail is reimagined with intention, and every garment is imbued with stories waiting to be discovered,” says designer Supria Munjal, Founder & Creative Director of the eponymous label that has dressed celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Genelia Dsouza Deshmukh, Patralekha amongst others over the years.
The store interiors
The space is designed by Renesa Architecture Design Interiors Studio, led by Principal Architect Sanchit Arora and Senior Associate Akarsh Verma. Their design vocabulary weaves clean geometries with organic materiality, creating an environment that feels both soulful yet modern in appeal. The ceiling is sculpted as an illuminated flower in full bloom alluding to the metaphor in Munjal’s story. It showcases a rhythmic arrangement of petal-like forms moving in symmetry, suggesting growth, continuity, and the layered histories we carry.

“For us, the Supria Munjal Atelier was about sculpting an immersive spatial experience, one where volume flows seamlessly, light interacts with form, and the architectural skin becomes an extension of the brand’s narrative”, says Sanchit Arora, Principal Architect, Renesa.
Brides Be Ready
Debuting with the store is Supria Munjal’s debut bridal collection ‘Varda Veeda’. Inspired by Kashmir, a land defined by serenity, beauty, and resilient grace, the edit does not just draw from the valley; it truly embodies it. Architectural motifs native to Kashmir lend narrative depth to each ensemble while a muted subtle colour palette borrows from the mountain trails, warm hearths, and cherished heirlooms. Conceived for the modern bride who values tradition yet stands confidently in her individuality, the new edit celebrates slow luxury, meticulous detailing, and timeless design.

“Varda Veeda is born from emotion, an ode to Kashmir’s soul, serenity and strength. Launching my bridal line, within this space feels profoundly symbolic, as each piece speaks to the bride of today – timeless, powerful, and radiant, who carries beauty with meaning,” says Munjal.
