Milan is entering another defining week on the fashion calendar. From today, September 22, the Italian fashion capital moves into its most closely watched week of the season as Milan Fashion Week SS27 opens with a calendar of established houses, evolving creative identities and new names. Running until September 28, Milan Fashion Week Spring Summer 2027 features 54 physical shows and six digital ones, alongside a broader programme of presentations and events.
Milan Fashion Week SS27 arrives at a time when several major houses are refining their creative language, giving the Milan Fashion Week runway a sense of continuity and change at once. The collections will reveal how these designers translate those shifts into clothes, accessories and the visual worlds surrounding them.
Prada Opens the Calendar
Prada has the first major runway slot today at 2 pm CEST, officially setting the Milan Fashion Week SS27 shows in motion. The house will be followed by Dhruv Kapoor and Diesel, while the evening will bring a wider celebration of Italian fashion and craftsmanship to the city.

Prada’s opening position also gives the house an early opportunity to shape the conversation around Spring Summer 2027 fashion. Gucci and Moschino Enter New Chapters
Two of the most anticipated Milan Fashion Week SS27 shows will take place on September 24. Gucci will present Demna’s latest collection for the house, marking another step in his evolving interpretation of the Italian label. His sophomore collection gives fashion watchers a closer look at how his aesthetic is developing within Gucci beyond its first season.

Later that day, attention turns to Moschino, where Sunnei founders Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo will present their first collection as co-creative directors. By the time Milan’s runway lights go down on September 28, the Milan Fashion Week designers will have offered a first, telling glimpse of the silhouettes, styling codes and ideas that could shape the next Spring Summer 2027 season.
