‘Welcome to the Dark Side.’ Darth Vader’s legendary invitation echoes through popular culture, but this time it finds an unexpected resonance in the world of fine watchmaking. The phrase is more than cinematic. It is a fitting prelude to a moment where mystery, precision and daring design converge. OMEGA has stepped confidently into the shadows and revealed seven striking new models across four distinctive dials that expand the story of its celebrated Speedmaster collection. This new chapter is not just about colour, but about attitude. The Dark and Grey Side of the Moon line embodies a refined edge and draws inspiration from the vastness of space while reimagining it through contemporary craftsmanship. Each watch is a study in contrasts. From the subtle gleam of grey ceramic to the deep inky intensity of black, OMEGA proves that entering the dark can reveal new dimensions of style and substance.
When OMEGA introduced the Dark Side of the Moon, it marked a bold new chapter in the Speedmaster story. Inspired by the mysterious beauty of the lunar surface, the collection debuted with a pioneering use of a single block of black ceramic to craft both the case and dial. This innovative approach fused cutting edge technology with the adventurous spirit that defined the original Moonwatch. Over time, the line expanded to include a variety of dial finishes and colour treatments, each exploring a different facet of space and modern design. More than a watch, the Dark Side of the Moon became a symbol of OMEGA’s ability to blend heritage with contemporary vision, pushing the boundaries of traditional watchmaking while remaining deeply connected to its lunar legacy.
