The AIFACS Gallery on Rafi Marg, New Delhi, came alive with reflection, light and colour as artist Goldy Malhotra unveiled her solo exhibition Echoes of the Eternal. Inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Dikshu Kukreja, renowned architect, urban planner and Honorary Consul General of Albania, alongside Guest of Honour Mr. Sanjay Passi, Chairman of Pasco Group, the evening marked not just the beginning of an art exhibition but the unfolding of a spiritual dialogue through paint and canvas. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Mrs. Malhotra, Mr. Kukreja and Mr. Passi set the tone for what would become an evening of contemplation — a visual journey that transcends time and celebrates continuity through art, faith and introspection.

A Visual Dialogue Between the Temporal and the Eternal
Echoes of the Eternal is a deeply introspective collection that bridges history and modernity, spirituality and human experience. Through more than forty paintings, Malhotra presents three distinct yet interconnected themes — Buddhism, Indian mythology and contemporary life — each representing a chapter in her ongoing exploration of what endures beyond the visible.
In an exclusive conversation with Outlook Luxe, Goldy Malhotra, Educationist and Artist says, “All the different themes from Buddhism, mythology or contemporary life there is a thread that weaves it all together and that is search for the Creator. We are all trying to find ourselves. This is the eternal echo in my works.

In an exclusive conversation with Outlook Luxe, Dikshu Kukreja, Managing Principle, CP Kukreja Architects, and Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Albania says “The exhibition shows art and architecture in many ways. Both these fields are very creative and subjective, and the the ability to mve people, and allow for a deeper introspection. Art and architecture can shape humanity much more”.
The section on Buddhism evokes serenity, compassion and the meditative calm of enlightenment. Here, the viewer is drawn into stillness — a silence that resonates louder than words. Her brushwork captures the tranquil symmetry of Buddhist philosophy, where form dissolves into thought and the canvas becomes a space of mindful awareness.
The second chapter, rooted in Indian mythology, reinterprets timeless tales with modern sensibility. The divine and the human coexist within the same visual frame — gods, goddesses and celestial beings appear not as distant entities but as reflections of inner strength and struggle. Through colour and texture, Malhotra renews these myths, imbuing them with contemporary relevance and emotional immediacy.

The final sequence, devoted to contemporary life, draws the exhibition into the present moment. These works reflect quiet contemplation, urban rhythm and personal resilience, yet retain the spiritual undertone that threads through the entire collection. They remind us that the eternal is not separate from the modern; it lives within our daily interactions, decisions and moments of reflection.
An Artist’s Pursuit of Continuity
What unites these three realms — the sacred, the mythical and the modern — is Malhotra’s persistent search for continuity. Her work speaks of an unbroken thread that connects all existence, a rhythm that transcends history and circumstance. Each painting becomes an inquiry into permanence amid impermanence — the idea that while time changes form, the spirit remains constant.
Her use of bold spatula strokes adds movement and texture, creating surfaces that seem to breathe. The restrained yet expressive palette — often composed of earth tones, deep blues, muted golds and spiritual whites — conveys emotion without excess. Through this balance, Malhotra bridges dualities: myth and modernity, sacredness and simplicity, chaos and calm.
Art as Meditation and Mirror
For Goldy Malhotra, art is both meditation and mirror. It is a space where personal reflection meets collective memory. Her canvases invite the viewer to pause and look inward — not just to admire the beauty of the image, but to feel the resonance of the eternal that echoes within it. The exhibition’s title finds its meaning here: each painting reverberates with something beyond the moment, something unspoken yet deeply familiar.
Her approach recalls the ancient Indian artistic tradition where creation is not just an act of representation but of revelation. The divine is not portrayed as an external force but as a living presence within the ordinary. This sensitivity gives Echoes of the Eternal a sense of balance — it is at once intimate and expansive, timeless yet deeply rooted in the now.
A Celebration of Spirit and Culture

The opening evening reflected the essence of the exhibition itself — dignified, warm and contemplative. As guests moved through the gallery, conversations unfolded quietly before each painting, often lingering in silence rather than speech. The interplay of light, texture and emotion transformed the space into something more than a gallery; it became a sanctuary for thought.
Where Time Meets the Timeless

Echoes of the Eternal is more than an exhibition — it is a journey through the landscapes of human consciousness. It explores how art can transcend boundaries of religion, culture and time to express something universal: the longing for permanence, the beauty of introspection and the quiet power of faith. As Goldy Malhotra’s brush moves between the spiritual and the everyday, the ancient and the modern, she reminds us that art, like the soul, has no end. It only echoes — endlessly, eternally.
Echoes of the Eternal is on view at AIFACS Gallery, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, from October 25 to 30, 2025, between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm.
