Love On The Menu: India’s Valentine’s Day Hotspots

Still wondering where to celebrate your love this Valentine’s Day? Consider this your guide to India’s most unforgettable romantic experiences

13 February 2026 04:17 PM

Romance doesn’t belong to one kind of table. It can be found in a crowded new bistro, a low-lit neighbourhood favourite bar, or a grand dining room at a five-star hotel that’s seen it all. Valentine’s Day is the one evening when even the most nonchalant diners care about where they’re sitting. A good wholesome experience can carry the night, a bad one can flatten it.

So we’ve done the shortlisting for you: a handful of new addresses worth the hype in India, a few time-tested classics that always gets it right, and the enduring legends that make any reservation feel like an occasion. All different moods, all right for February 14.

1. Shangri-La Eros New Delhi

What kind of cuisine do you and your partner enjoy – Chinese, Italian, or perhaps an eclectic mix of global flavours? At Shangri-La Eros New Delhi, you don’t have to choose just one. Savour a leisurely buffet, settle in for an elegant dinner, or indulge in a bespoke premium dining experience at Tamra, the hotel’s award-winning restaurant celebrated for its international cuisine.
