Elephants have held a significance place in Indian culture. They are considered as symbols of wisdom, prosperity, royalty, and power. In ancient courts, elephants were central to royal processions, grand ceremonies and warfare, often representing the mighty and dignity of kingdoms. Beyond religion and royalty, elephants feature prominently in Indian art, textiles, architecture and folklore, where they are depicted as protectors, companions of gods and emblems of grace. Their enduring presence across centuries makes them a powerful cultural icon that continues to inspire artisans and designers today. Jaipur Watch Company has unveiled its latest novelty the Majestic Elephant Ring Watch drawing inspiration from Rajasthan’s iconic elephant motifs in traditional jewellery.
