Triumph Motorcycles is introducing updates to its Speed Twin 1200 and launching a new Speed Twin 1200 RS, both will be available at dealers around the world from December 2024. The new Speed Twin 1200features upgrades including Marzocchi forks and twin Marzocchi rear suspension units, optimised cornering ABS and traction control. The styling has been refreshed to blend a bright, contemporary sports style with modern classic design DNA, and features beautiful design details that showcase Triumph’s exceptional build quality.

The new Speed Twin 1200 RS in addition will offer riders sportier ergonomics as well as stability with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres and Triumph Shift Assist, which is included for the first time on a Modern Classic. It also has a special addition of brushed aluminium front and rear mudguards.

The new Speed Twin 1200 will be available from £12,495 on the road and the new Speed Twin1200 RS will be available from £14,495 on the road.

2. BMW F 900 GS and GS Adventure

BMW Motorrad has launched the BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure in India. These motorcycles will be available as Completely Built-up Units (CBU) and deliveries will beginin October 2024. Both motorcycles have been completely redesigned and benefit from a dynamic design that signals increased off-road qualities and sportiness.

BMW F 900 GS features the short GS beak underneath the new, compact headlight and the typical GS flyline that stretches over the tank and the sporty seat to the rear. Off-road qualities, sportiness and dynamic performance are also reflected in the rear section, which is narrower and more dynamic than the predecessor model. The dynamic appearance of the all-new BMW F 900 GS is further enhanced by the sporty rear silencer by Akrapoviè. One of the key points of the new design of the all-new BMW F 900 GS is the redesigned plastic fuel tank, which allowed for a much slimmer and ergonomically more favourable design.

The all-new BMW F 900 GS Adventure shows that is ready for off-road adventures with the newly designed radiator trims with GS logo in white aluminium. Black components such as the engine, fixed fork tubes, wheel rims and a black-grey comfort seat blend in harmoniously. The new BMW F 900 GS Adventure in the White Aluminium matte variant signals a spirit of adventure and long-distance travel qualities.

BMW F 900 GS is priced at INR 13,75,000 ex-showroom and BMW F 900 GS Adventure will cost INR 14,75,000 ex-showroom.

3. Ducati Multistrada V4 RS

Italian automaker Ducati has introduced the Multistrada V4 RS, its latest adventure bike in India. The Multistrada V4 RS is powered by a 1103cc liquid-cooled V4 Desmosedici engine. Ducati has positioned this model as a numbered edition, adding to its allure and exclusivity. Each unit boasts a unique numbered plaque on the triple clamp, signifying its special status.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS was initially launched in the United States in January 2024 and was priced at USD 37,995.

4. Triumph Daytona 660

Triumph has launched a triple-powered middleweight sports bike, the Daytona 660. The triple engine delivers a perfect blend of low-end torque, exhilarating high-rpm power, and distinctive character. Power delivery is through a six-speed gearbox and Triumph’s Torque Assist clutch ensures a progressive, light lever action with a span-optimised clutch lever for better reach. The clutch design improves rear wheel control under hard deceleration for smooth, confident corner entry. Triumph’s Shift Assist is available as an accessory fit for fast and effortless clutch-less up and down shifts and even easier riding in town.

American motorcycle company, Indian Motorcycles has unveiled the Roadmaster Elite touring motorcycle in India. Some of the highlights of Indian Roadmaster Elite are its Indian Motorcycle Red tri-tone paint scheme with a premium candy finish and exclusive Elite badging, including an individually numbered centre console complete with a silhouette of a 1904 Indian Camelback – Indian Motorcycle’s first model to debut the iconic Indian Motorcycle Red paint. The motorcycle also comes equipped with PowerBand Audio with Bass Boost delivers 50% louder audio through 12 speakers; located in the front fairing, saddlebags, and touring trunk with even more bass when compared to stock sound systems, adaptive LED headlights, spacious floorboards and colour-matched stitched seat adds exclusive styling to a high-performing, comfortable touring seat.

With only 350 available worldwide and incredible custom-inspired styling, the 2024 Indian Roadmaster Elite is priced at INR 71.82 lakh ex-showroom in India.

Piaggio Vehicles, the maker of the iconic Vespa and sporty Aprilia range of scooters and motorcycles,has introduced its luxury limited-edition Vespa 946 Dragon along with their first fashion accessory, the Vespa Dragon Varsity Jacket for the Indian market. It was launched globally to celebrate the Lunar New Year.The limited edition luxury scooter has a special dragon livery beneath its headlamp and along its profile in the shade of emerald. It is powered by a 150cc engine, a metal-monocoque body, and features a single leading-link shock upfront. It runs on 12-inch stylish wheels and gets a 220mm disc brake at the front.

7. BSA Gold Star 650

British motorcycle company, Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), has tied up with India’s Classic Legends to introduce the iconic BSA Gold Star 650.The original Gold Star, born in Britain in 1938, set numerous speed records and dominated racing circuits, becoming the ‘gold standard’ for performance motorcycles of its time. BSA Gold Star 650 will be India’s biggest single-cylinder motorcycle with a liquid-cooled 652cc engine. It is also equipped with a 12V socket and USB charging port. The bike’s rider-focused design includes easily adjustable rear shocks for personalised comfort.

BSA Gold Star will be available at select dealerships across India with prices beginning at INR 2.99 Lakh onwards, ex-showroom.

8. Royal Enfield Guerilla 450

Royal Enfield has introduced its premium modern roadster, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. This bike marks a significant evolution in Royal Enfield’s strong roadster legacy that continues to lead categories. The Guerrilla 450 is powered by the new and advanced 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Sherpa engine and is engineered for an eager and spirited roadster performance. This powertrain debuted in the award-winning Himalayan 450 adventure tourer and has since gained huge appreciation. Its water-cooled system features an integrated water pump, twin-pass radiator, and internal bypass, ensuring optimal temperature control for peak performance in any condition. Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 is priced at INR 2,39,000 onwards, ex-showroom in India. The bike will also be available in the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain and France.

BMW Motorrad also launches the BMW R 1300 GS in India. The motorcycle boasts a completely new design inspired by traditional GS icons, emphasising extreme compactness and significant weight reduction.The motorcycle’s dynamic, light, and accessible appearance is highlighted by a significantly flatter tank ramp and a sleek flyline.At the heart of the all-new BMW R 1300 GS is the legendary two-cylinder boxer engine, now more compact thanks to a gearbox under the engine and a new camshaft drive arrangement.This engine is the most powerful BMW boxer engine ever produced in series, delivering an output of 107 kW (145 hp) at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6500 rpm.
